Did I just get rip off

Shop Angels. Did a shop for them this month, extremley easy, 8 questions, got paid quick. Report, less then 10 minutes. They are NEW to USA, or just getting to my area. But they are based in Australia. When I checked how they paid it said $12.00 USD. Got my email from pay pal, $8.87. Went to web sight, could not not find how they pay the USA!! I know, I was expecting my $12.00 USD, as they stated, and never said it was going to be less since I live In the US.But this is the first overseas MSC I have done. Again any input about overseas shoppers would help me.

The Australian dollar is very close to the American dollar in value, +/- about 2% typically.. I think you got cheated for some other reason.

Did you get paid the amount they said they were going to pay you or less?
Unfortunately thresanresee45 is a repeater bot who is just doing a copy and paste of parts of what you wrote, Charlene. The purpose is to have some text to throw links at the bottom to sucker folks into clicking. They may be pay-for-click sites, they may be other types of ripoffs or they may indeed be clicks that introduce viruses or tracking software to your computer. That is why we yell SPAM as fast as we see a potentially dangerous link included. This poster is not a mystery shopper, has never worked for the company in question and has zero interest in your well being.
I feel like a complete fool!! I am just glad there are people here that can spot these spammers. When you yell out SPAM cant you say who it is? I thought AustinMom was talking about the company I did the shop for. Oh well, thanks for trying to help me out AustinMom!(:
When someone posts and adds a link to click on, they are spammers. When we type "SPAM" it is so the administrator can quickly search and delete them.
I am so sorry, but if it has edit post, I should not respond to them? I know it must be so frustrating to all of you that helps all the new ones. But if I do not ask I will never learn. Thanks Again, AustinMom and to you Flash. Ya'll are so nice.
I don't understand your comment about 'edit post'. Every post you enter on this forum will have 'edit post' in the lower right hand corner. You will only see it on posts from you. You have the option of editing your own post (useful when you read through it and realize you made no sense or made a goof that violated your ICA) but not the posts of others. If someone responds to your post you are, of course, not obligated in any way to respond further.
Charlene, if you stick around long enough, and keep reading the forum, you become familiar with members' names and their positions. Bots are a fairly new occurrence here. Regular forum reading will alert you to close-to-verbatim bot posts. In any event, not to worry. Ask away.
I don't know what I am doing, guess I just should leave this site. I do not know what you all know. Bots, close- to verbatim bot posts, Spam etc. I have done enough damage bugging everyone on here. Happy Holidays, and bless everyone who has helped me. Thanks to All!!
