Anyone here work for CorporEx?

They have contacted me but I am concerned about a scam. When you applied for jobs as mystery shoppers, how did you know it was a reliable company? Thanks for any feedback...I'm a little concerned I've gotten in too deep with a potential scam.

I recieved a e-mail today where they had gotten my info from career builder asking me to be a Secret Shopper. Can anyone advise me on if this is a scam? Lost my job a few weeks ago and am looking to pick up some extra money to get by and am new to all this.
It would appear it is the latest scam chugging down the pike. Stay away, if they send you their infamous check for $2830 or whatever, know that it is a fake and will cost you at least whatever your bank charges for depositing a bad check.
Send them you basic information BUT NOT YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER nor BANKING INFORMATION and see what they respond.

Hello I've just gotten into this mystery shopping as a second income. And after reading what all has been said its coming to my attention that my first experience will be a "DOOSY" I sent in my 'employment app. and only got an email within maybe seven to nine days stating that I needed to inform them of what transpired at Walmart. Then a check appeared on Dec 3rd. the envelope dated the 29th of Nov. the senders address AZ with the senders name completely different from what was printed on the check. For the exact dollar amount as everyone else has stated. Nothing was mention about purchasing a television or anything at all as what to do with any said dollar amount. I took the check to same bank that it was said to be from and they were ready to cash it in. With out any hesitations with an overlook from two employees and the teller also ran it thru their system. No warnings red flags nothing. only I wasn't given any direct instructions as what to do with it ( the check).
DO NOT cash or deposit that check. If you have already done so, return to the bank and speak with a bank officer about the problem and return any funds that you got from the bank to avoid legal problems.
