Secret Shopping Services still not paid for June shop

I have emailed the scheduler several times about a jewelry shop I did June 12th. Still no payment. I got a reply saying it was a "paypal issue, and they will reissue payment and look into why I didn't get paid the first time." I got that reply over a month ago.
I would not recommend this shopping company at all based on my experience with them.

Stay on it. I have not done lots with them but never had any payment issues. Double check the paypal address you gave them.

Do you know their payment terms? I thought they said 15th of the following month, however I'm still waiting for payment on a 9/8 shop.

I think they blame paypal instead of owning up.....they have been sending me jobs like mad, just not doing any for now. I had a non payment from them, have to track it as well.

My February jobs were paid April 3, I did an April shop that my records show was paid May 30 (though their website erroneously shows it paid in October), I have an October shop that I expect to see payment for fairly soon but have not seen it yet (nor is it marked 'paid' on the shop log on their website).
They haven't yet answered my email --- Crickets

My 10/10 rated shop just shows payment pending, so there's no blaming Pay Pal on 9/8 Shop -- They just haven't paid.

Like Irene, I won't take another job unless they regain my confidence. Just not worth this kind of effort to track down a few bucks.
Hi, I wonder if somebody filed Unpaid cases with BBB?
In the past it worked but now not. BBB do not respond or respond with advice to gp to the court. What is happen to them. I did job for coyle Hispitality and I was told my work is not good. It is not mean they should not pay at all. If they don`t like it they can correct and pay at least partially. Letter to the company did not helped too.

Hi Lisa. Generally when a company rejects a shop it is because they need to send someone out to do the shop over. Companies can only work with you so far about turning a marginally acceptable shop into an acceptable one. If there are observations missing, there is nothing they can do but reject and start over with someone else. In those cases their view is that you did not complete your performance contract and are due no payment. It is why it makes little sense to take on a job with a substantial out of pocket expense it would be painful to lose before you have done enough low out of pocket cost shops with a company or with similar companies to make sure you will have a fair degree of success.
Curious as to if there are any recent experiences with this company. I haven't done my shop yet, but so far, they've been ace on the communication front. However, now I'm hoping there won't be any issues with payment!
Yes, any updates on SSS? I really like them and especially their owner, Laurie, and I would put them in the category of "blind trust" - so I am sad to hear they may be having payment issues.
I am really surprised to learn about payment issues. I have not had any problems
getting paid.
