Companies to work for if I live in Seattle, WA

Hi, do you know of any companies that work with Seattle businesses? I've signed up for some via Sassie and they don't even work with any in WA. I don't want to waste any more of my time signing up for companies if they aren't even in my area. If you live in Seattle/know of any good ones to sign up with, please let me know! Thank you!!!

I don't mean to pop your balloon but ....

You're basically asking people to give you their work. We've all "wasted time" signing up for companies that don't offer work in our area. It's part of the game. They may not have any work today but who knows what will show up tomorrow?

Asking people in your area to tell you who they work for is pretty much a cardinal sin in MSing. Why should people tell you who they work for only to have you take their jobs when such jobs are posted? In some markets, there are barely enough jobs as it is - why add another shopper?

My best advice: do like the rest of us. Sign up with multiple companies, check the sites daily, check the forums, check Volition and Jobslinger and you'll find work.

Good luck!
Oh, I see...just thought I'd ask just in case anyone was feeling like they wanted to share. smiling smiley
We are more than happy to share that there is a list of legitimate companies in the first post of the first thread of the Mystery Shopping Company Discussion section of the forum. There are some 200+ companies listed there, some of whom may have work in your area and most may not. Sharing a list of suppliers or customers is not something that most small businesses, or large businesses for that matter, do.
I can definitely verify that there is plenty of work in Seattle. Try Jobslinger first.
Carol - do you live in Seattle too? I did not realize. I too live here. smiling smiley

Sorry for the threadjack... to the original poster - there is a LOT of shopping here. And for the most part, not a great number of shoppers...
To Mickey B, yup, I sure do. To Jtsuch, if you are a woman, sign up on AboutFace. There is a scheduler pretty desperate to find cosmetics shoppers very soon.

We share a lot of information. And we help each other by serving as a sounding board for ideas and we all have special ways we do things. I can't tell you how much easier my shopping has been by incorporating ideas other shoppers have shared. And this is a great place to check out that new company you have not yet worked for to see if they are a fast-pay .... or .... a NO-WAY. But we do NOT offer up the jobs that we currently do so that other shoppers in our area can do them instead.
