MarketForce: Slow Going?

It has been a few weeks since I have seen a boom in MF shops in my area (Denver). They are my bread and butter company, so this is forcing me to look elsewhere. I am sorta disappointed, but wonder if its my job board or the same for others out there. Are clients being dropped? Is this just a slow time?

I have noticed a huge drop is shops that show up for me on MFI. Now my board mostly shows FFs and nothing else. My monthly payment from them used to average around $500-$600 and last month I barely hit $150.
Wow to lisams901,you must do alot of shops for MF. How many shops do you do in a day? I haven't been at this that long, but am finding the paperwork limits my job potential because it takes me forever. Am I doing something wrong?Any suggestions?

Well I didn't used to do that many shops. For the past year shopping has been one of my main sources of income so I sometimes do close to 200 assignments in a week. I started shopping almost 5 years ago and at that time I did maybe 2 shops a week.

I wouldn't worry about not doing many shops right away. When I started there is no way I would have been able to keep the details of that many shops straight.

EDIT: Just to clarify, when I hit 200 a week, a lot of those are fast 5 minute photo audits.

I have seen almost no FF from MarketForce so suspect that client may be gone. The other shops seem to be mostly the same ones, though either there are more shoppers grabbing them or there are less visits being scheduled.

Do you mean the FFs that GapBusters also used to have? That is all that I still have from MFI here.
I still see the FF shops, but sadly, the big bonuses at I counted on at the end of the month have disappeared with the influx of the Gap Buster shoppers.
I'm still seeing that burger double-shop and the burger drive in, but not as many locations seemed to be shopped. I'm not seeing as many chicken ff and have seen no Chinese ff, the 2-entree ones. Wonder what's up.
Several months back I declined the burger double-shop and mentioned that I certainly didn't need double the calories and was not thrilled even about a single dose of THOSE calories. That may be why I am not seeing them, but I am seeing peanuts, bread and the rollerskates in addition to the Chinese. We have the wrong brand of chicken in my area.
Oh, yeah, I forgot the peanuts. I LOVE that one. I am seeing that. Have not seen a single Chinese since June. I love the Chinese, too. I wonder if I have somehow declined them since you are seeing them......
The peanuts rarely show up in my area now. They are snapped up faster than any other shop.
My sense is that the Chinese may be a quarterly shop. I did see one in a community near mine but not close enough to take the shop. I did just look within about 150 miles of you, AustinMom and saw no double burger shops or Chinese. But I did see peanuts and roller skates.
I wish I liked the peanuts shop...no thanks! Not digging the required menu and no alterations
We turn it into a dinner for two. I get the burger of my dreams, the fries and the drink and pick up a burger for the companion. The fries are more than enough to split and luckily he prefers water with his meals anyway. Nirvana.
Delish. Last month, Zagat's ranked them numero uno in the top five. They took the spot from In-N-Out Burger. I agree with the top spot, but having had both, I would not even put In-N-Out at number two.

That extra handful of fries tossed on top do usually make it enough to share.

Believe me this Gapbuster shopper is not taking any! My state however was one that was Gapbuster and the first two months I got some good bonuses, got one ok one last month but that is it. I will not do those shops for 7.50 period.

Ha, I did the same as Flash with my dayghter and a friend. I got the whole package, they got a burger each. I gave them the fries. Anyway, now my daughter is back in school in another town and goes in for her peanut fix, and I pay for it.

One shop I notice missing is the cell phones, I think they were picked up by another MSC.
They are about to lose their big supermarket in our area. Another company we shop for is doing testing and said by the end of the year they expect to have all of them.
There are still lots of FF shops here. I don't really think the $7.50 fee is bad. I prefer the bonused shops, but I usually take a few in my area each month.

At one point, I complained about something minor to the helpdesk & they removed my eligibility for the shops. Several months later, I asked if they were still shopped & was told yes, but that because I had made a comment, I was removed. They reinstated me for those shops & I've been taking them ever since.
jnstead08,
What region are you in, please?

Based in MD, near DC

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
I'm in Denver as well and not only have I noticed a slow down with Market Force, but with several of the other companies I shop for. I'm hoping things pick up soon. Meanwhile I'm trying to find some other companies with a strong presence here in Colorado.
I'm in Phoenix and have not seen any hardware store or office supply shops for a while. Of course for all I know they have simply blocked me from seeing them, which would be typical of MF. And the FF bonuses have pretty much dried up.
Denver, too?! Nice to hear. Try Corporate Research International (increased $ shops only), Coyle, Best Mark and A Closer Look. I am having to search harder now that Marketforce is really slow.

That pretty much sums up my board over here too. They have two gas station audits leftover that are around two hours away. Then the FFs. I know for the hardwares they have a reshop restriction, but I'm not sure how long it is.
I know there is nothing in my town right now. When they do put jobs up, it is the same ones; FF, Coffee. I guess I did do a grocery store and wish these would show up more. I would like to do office supply shops but have not seen any in quite some time.
I really wish MFI would pick up more clients. I like the company somewhat. Their reports are very easy. Not as stressful as some of the others.

Forgive my grammar and spelling on the boards. I am off duty.
The office supply shops are easy but you are required to make a purchase which is not reimbursed.

My last hardware store shop did not produce a very good report. I was directed to seek advice in the plumbing department so I chose to ask about repairing a leaky faucet. The associate was a college girl who knew absolutely nothing about faucets and focuses all of her energy on trying to sell me a new faucet for around $150.

For MFI? I've done many office shops for them and they have all been reimbursed.
I do office supply shops for another company because I am at them quite often buying supplies for my eBay business. I figure doing a shop and getting paid while I am there anyway is a good idea.
I have not seen a hardware shop in my area. I am not sure I would take one anyway. I tend to do shops in an environment I am going to be in anyway, or one I would enjoy. If shops have a bonus attached, that is a different story.
