I recently received this email supposedly from the Calyptus Consulting Group, Inc. Does anyone know if it is legitimate. Thanks for your time.

anywhere in U.S.A. as part-time worker. No application fee Required, Applicant must
be 18 years and above, must check email 2 -3 times in a day to read updates from us
and be honest. You will earn $250 for each evaluation you carry out as our mystery
shopper,This Evaluation can take place five times or more in a week so you can end
up earning for yourself close to $1000 or more in a week. Your employment packet
include business evaluation form and a training Instructions which will be sent to
you via email shortly before you receive payment. A Paycheck will be sent to you in
form of Certified Money Order or Cashier checks via a Fed Ex or a UPS delivery
courier for the Evaluation , you are to deduct your $250 commission, and the rest
will be used for the evaluation at the store that you will be informed to go.

1. Business evaluation form: This is the form you are required to fill after you
visit any shopping mall in your area, you would be given the store name and address

control after their services are rendered to you. You would required to fill a form
to rate the employee(S), the form would be given to you after the evaluation.

2. Training Assignment: You are hired to evaluate the quality of services of the

Scam. No real MSC pays that well, they do not solicit in this manner, they do not use this form of payment, and do not require "early morning delivery.

It screamed SCAM as soon as I saw the amount following the $.

One think that I noticed was that the the grammar, spelling, sentence structure, etc. are disgusting.

Real MSC's grammar, spelling and sentence structure may often be very bad, but only the scammers are disgusting. You've got a scammer for sure!

One day the Nigerian public education system may put more emphasis on grammar.

What if they sent me a cashiers check for $825.15 from UPS? I am to cash, deduct $250.00 then proceed to fulfill my shopping which happens to be a Western Union! Is this a scam?

Absolutely! Don't cash the check or money order. Ask yourself why someone who did not know you or anything about you except your address would send you money in HOPES that you would do something for them? If you can come up with some really solid reason why a stranger would hand you $825.15 'out of the blue', then cash the check. But I think you know better than that!

that is certainly a scam. Cashing the check will give you legal problems and your bank will demand that you replace the funds that you may get. so, do not cash the check!
