Measure Consumer/New Pizza Shops

I just received an email that Measure Consumer Perspectives would be doing pizza shops beginning 05/25/2010. I checked out the information and it does not indicate if the pizza will have to be "mangled" or not. I was wondering if anyone else knew the new shop requirements?

Kinda funny though because I have a shop for the same pizza store that has to be completed by May 16 with another company.

More About Pizza Store Mystery Shopping

Don't know, yet. Until the new MSP assigns a shop, it appears complete guidelines won't be known, though the fee and reimbursement was shared. This client has been concurrently shopped by two MSPs in my area for several months. We'll see . . .

They are shopped by two companies here as well and it seemed to me that the hard to fill jobs went to one company while the others went through a well know low pay company.

Yup, I got an email from this company about the pizza shop today. It was the first time, so I was wondering if the other company no longer has it...

I don't know about this new client, but have found Kimberly and Caroll and Julie very nice to work with in the shops that I have done for them. They have been short-handed in the office recently, but have still been supportive and paid on time.

Since I don't do pizza shops, I hope that their next new client broadens the range of shop types that they do. BTW, they are starting to do a lot of video and on-site audio shops.

My concern on this, and the concern I have read at other forums, is the reimbursement does not cover the cost of the pizza in many markets. In mine, it is $26 for pizza I wouldn't consider buying if it wasn't fully reimbursed. The fee for the shop is fine, if the pizza were paid in full. This mangling of pizza will never be a fav of mine.

I never examined the prices, as I've had no interest in these so far. However, it's surprising -- given my experience with the company, that's very "un-Measure-like"!

I just checked them out for my area. They aren't starting until May 25th and need to be completed by May 30th. That leads me to believe this is a sort of test shop since the two companies that usually shop them in my area give you from three weeks to a month.

They are reimbursing up to $17 for the pizza with a $5 fee. The fee is $1 higher to start than the company most known for shopping them, but, in my area at least, the other company bonuses them FAST. On the first day they are available to be shopped most are already up around $10.

There's a ton of them here in Louisville where they are headquartered. I Can't shop them because they don't deliver to my house! I agree that Julie, Kim and Carrol are great to work with. I've done some shops for them and gone down to the office a few times.

I live way out in the middle of nowhere that delivers pizza, but I have them deliver it to a business that I'm going to be at.

If you read their FB pages, this is the new MSC for this client, and they are excited about it.

Do you know if they are going to be the only MSC shopping them or will they still also be with the other two?

No, I only know what MCP stated.
