Bestmark really depends upon your scheduler. If you are seriously late, then I can see the $2.00 deduction. Obviously this is done by computer and you have to intervene with a person to keep it from happening. That $2.00 deduction keeps the company from having to track you down, but if it is 5 minutes, the scheduler can usually refund it if you have a good relationship. It's better if you call your scheduler in the AM and ask for an extension. Sometimes they can give it easier if you head off the computer instead of trying to get around it after the fact.
I did a few road trips with the car shops, and once I got into a rhythm they were fast. My record, 9 car shops in one day and a fast food. Some trips were great, others not so much....As said before, it depends upon your scheduler. Tell your scheduler you will take some of the hard to schedule shops if he/she helps you too. It's a win-win solution. I actually like that Bestmark gives you until the AM. I hate the shops that close at midnight. Get home from the mall at 10PM and try to get all the shops in by midnight. It's a nightmare.
For car salesmen who keep calling, just say you bought a car at competitor, especially if they don't call in 48 hours. No more calls and they will be faster to reply next time.
