Has anyone shopped IntelliShop. I am to get a free eye exam, then buy a pair of glasses - reimbursement up to $500, then when I get my glasses send them to them,then will get paid. This seems like a lot of out of pocket expense to me. Thanks!

I shop for Intelli all the time and never had a problem getting paid. You might want to check that amount because I did an eye shop for them about three months ago and the reimbursement was only up to 75.00

Yeah, they're a legit company, but recent posts on other forums seem to indicate recent payment and communication problems/changes. You might want to do a little more research and read their most current policy on shops and payments before you do anthing more or that involved to make sure of what you're in for.

I have done many shops for them. They pay a little slow at times but they do pay.

Intellishop has always done right by me. I've done many shops for them and always gotten paid on time.

I also have worked for Intellishop many times. Good company.......been w/them over 3 years now.

I have shopped for them in the past with no issues. I am not thrilled with the glasses shops of ANY MSP I have seen. Coupons in the Sunday paper generally offer better deals at no more/less reputable places. The MSPs tend to work with places that are "high end" because of their advertising and carrying "designer frames" rather than because of their quality or price structure.

As for Intellishop itself, there are two factors that concern me about them at present--they have lengthened their pay/reimbursement schedule and they are cutting fees on shops. These two behaviors in combination are a red flag to me personally that they are struggling. So I am perhaps willing to do their card shop at $7 with a small reimbursement if I need a birthday card for friend or family, but I would hesitate to lay out much on behalf of their shop.

I have done a lot of shops for them and they have always paid on time. The money goes into my PayPal and right on schedule. I have never had any problem with them. The forms are fairly easy to fill out also.

IntelliShop rules...I have done several shops, had a problem with one and they checked into the instructions, and told me I was right and had a conference call to change their outdated instructions. They are a great Company, nice people.

And they pay well.

They do pay fairly (compared to some)....

They sponser (stand behind) MSPA Gold CD. There name is on it...so, for those that work for them or want to, it can't hurt to get certified. Just finished my first pretzel shop...great way to get your carbs. YUMMO!

Yes, they're nice people. However, they're on a 2-month schedule, be warned. April shops would be paid June 20. They do the pretzel shop? Yummy! I do ice cream shops for them, weekly, sometimes 2 diff ones the same week!!

I get some good shops with Intelli at fair prices, Their money is good but they could improve on time it takes to get it. Wish i could tell my electricty company to wait 2 1/2 mo. till intelli pays me.
GFK AND MARITZ GETS THEIR SHOPPERS PAID OUT IN 10 DAYS TO 2 WEEKS.
maby some of these other companys could follow their lead.

I shop for them, but I have never heard of this eye glass shop before. I have seen others that pay for either the eye exam or the glasses, but never up to $500. I'd talk to someone at the company, on the phone, before I would spend this kind of money.

They pay your shops about a month and a half after you do them. It is slow, but your money will come.

I hve done 12 shops for them. They are fine. The only problem is that they
grade very tightly on things like punctuation and spelling. I use Word's
spelling and grammar checker before I send a narrative. They pay promptly.

I'm scared they're not paying haven't been paid for my April shops yet, and my log has been showing "payment pending" for ages.

I shop for them all the time. Your april shops wont be paid until the end of June.

this is correct: Intellishop payment schedule changed last year. If you do a job at end of month.....you basically wait 60 days but if you do it at beginning...could be almost 90 days.
Shops on April 1 or April 30 would both be paid on June 30.
course if they don't receive the receipt for the April 30 shop by May 1......that April 30 shop might not be paid until July 31.

Q. When will I be paid for my shop?

A. We send payments to Pay Pal approximately 60 days from the last day of the month your shop was completed. Please keep in mind that it takes Pay Pal up to 5 business days to process payments once they have been transferred. We ONLY pay via Pay Pal; no checks are ever issued. For evaluations requiring some form of paperwork (receipts, associate business cards, etc.) we must receive your paperwork by the 1st of the month in which the payment will be made in order to get it processed in time to include your payment in that monthly payment batch. Any paperwork received after the 1st will not be paid until the following monthly payment batch (for example, receipts received by December 1st will be paid at the end of January; receipts received December 2nd and later will be paid in February, not January). Please send receipts in ASAP to prevent any delays in payment, and always scan them into your report when possible.

This is my experience with IntelliShop. I completed a gas station shop, faxed my information, they had my Paypal information, and when it came time for payday, they claim they could not send it to my Paypal account. I emailed them several times and I got no response. Then I got several emails telling me that my pay would be returned to them if I don't submit another Paypal account. I tried several more times to email them, still no response. Needless to say, they took my money back and I never got paid. I still prefer companies that mail a check!!

Because they take toooooo long to pay, I no longer like to shop for them. My first shop was with them and I didn't get paid for almost 90 days. My ratings were high and I was given a Hero's citation for taking a shop at a moment's notice, but what good is that if you're waiting forever to get paid. I was receiving pay from others way before them.

Yes, I was willing to do their shops when the pay was faster. But I find their pay scale is marginal to start with and the long wait for payment is definitely uninteresting. At first I was concerned that stretching the pay period was a function of financial instability and avoided them. But folks seem to be getting paid. At this point it is a fairly simple equation of fee + wait = not worth the shop.

They refused to pay me for a shop I completed for them. They owe me $225.

This company is absolutely legitimate. They have a long pay cycle, which they clearly state. They pay me for accepted shops within the terms of their pay cycle. Unfortunately, there will always be issues with any company. The company is not always wrong, and the shopper is not always wrong. That type of disagreement must be settled between the shopper and the company. Saying the company is not legitimate because there is a disagreement or a misunderstanding is not being fair. A company that is not legitimate would be a scam or fraud type company, and that does not describe Intellishop. The statement that they are not legitimate is not legitimate.

I have completed 31 shops for them and they have paid me for everyone. very legit.
