Texas Shoppers Network

I have just received several offers from Texas Shoppers Network. I don't recall signing with them. Does any one know if they are legit or not? I have not opened any of the mails yet.

Although they have nothing in my area, I do know they are a real company. As with any solicitation, make sure of the source. Can you log into their site and see the offering? Did you sign up with this comoany? Many may MSC's are having their names hijacked by spammers for work that is not real....

Be aware that the legitimate site for Texas Shoppers Network is [www.texasshoppersnetwork.com] If I recall correctly, they do not have you sign up with an on line application but rather download one to mail in. So nobody should be asking you your personal information via email, especially an unsolicited email.
Texas Shoppers Network is a Texas-based Prophet MS company. I don't know what kind of shops you are seeing but they do grocery shops here in Texas. They do send out e-mails to lure new shoppers. There are two near me. I have been signed up with them 10 months and have done 3 grocery shops. They are legit. They are not one of the fastest-paying MSCs (some of the Prophet companies, like Feedback and Qams, pay very fast, like 2 weeks), I think they pay at 2 months or 10 weeks. Their grocery shops are pretty standard, report is a little more demanding than most grocery shop reports. Their website is [www.texasshoppersnetwork.com]

They have an easy sign-up. You might go sign up and browse what they have and decide if you are interested.
They pay fairly slow, by PayPal, about 2 - 1/2 months. I have done 4 shops for them. One check was paid on time (2 shops), although it was slow. The other (for 2 shops) was a couple of weeks past their payment date and I e-mailed the company and the scheduler several times over a week and called and left a voicemail on the main phone line. I got no response to my call or any of my e-mails. After getting no response (what's worse than not being paid? Not even getting the courtesy of a response when you ask about payment!), I complained on this forum and on Volition. After complaining on the forums, I got a PayPal payment pretty quick. They regularly post shops at 2 stores of a grocery chain. After taking 3 shops and getting paid, I haven't accepted any more. The pay is OK but not great and the report form is more demanding than most grocery forms. Also, it is inconvenient, because, although you can self-schedule the shops, you must not only specify the DATE you want, but you must also specify the TIME OF DAY. I find that difficult for scheduling and the fee is not high enough to tempt me to overcome the difficult scheduling.
