I have done a few shops for them. The forms were fairly easy to fill out and the pay was prompt, as promised.
I like this company. They also paid me promptly but I found that they don't have a lot of shops in my area. sad smiley Best thing to do (in case you didn't already know) is to sign up for more than one company. If you want a list of more mystery shopping companies try [myworkonline.bravehost.com] they've got a good list of mystery shopping companies. I've signed up for a couple of mystery shopping companies and have been quite pleased.
I've done a few shops for them and find them reliable for payment etc.
But I find their editors very, very picky - one shop I did required no purchase so I put in $0 and they came back looking for purchase details and then rated teh report 8 because they had to seek clarification.
I have dealt with Beyond Hello for about a year. Their shops are fairly easy and there is always prompt payment.
Good company. Pay as scheduled. Jobs not too difficult and reports relatively easy to complete.

One of my fav's. I do tons of shops for them. Never had a problem with anything. I like the shops they have even though not expensive, very fairly priced. Easy shops, pay like clockwork, and very nice.

I have done a few shops for Beyond Hello. I have never had any problems with them until now. I logged on to check for jobs and there was a note on my profile. It said I was deactivated because I work for one of their clients. I work in a warehouse sorting car parts. I am absolutely positive we don't get shopped. How would you shop a warehouse anyway?? I sent them an email questioning this but of course I have not received a reply.
Pamela-

Have you called them? Misunderstandings can be cleared up rather quick that way. 800-321-2588 . Have your shopper ID handy.

I thought about calling them but I haven't yet. I may do that in a couple of days. I didn't want to call while I was feeling frustrated about it.
Off topic ....

I didn't know unregistered guests could post here is that new?

Everyone has a photographic memory. Some just forget to load the film.
I've done everything from sushi lunches to entire shopping outlet audits for them - love them. Terrific schedulers, easy to contact and talk with. Highly recommend, one of my favorites.

You should call them.
I did a shop for them today..or at least tried to. I got to the location (which did not require a phone call beforehand..however when I called to ask the hours they said nothing about needing an appt) and was told they could not even speak with me unless I have an appt for a consultation which generally runs 2-3 hours. This was at a retail store situated on a local shopping street with a front door and open to the public. I tried hard to get them to just spend a few minutes with me and told them I did not need a full consultation. They offered to have me speak with them about the product over the phone if I did not want to make an appt and return on a different day. Amazing! How do they expect to get follow up business? When I entered the receptionist was away from the front desk and I browsed for more than the required 2 minutes before I even saw an employee. Called BH and they were all gone for the day. I sent an email as well. The shop deadline is today (the day I signed up to do it). I hope they are as nice as everyone says!!! I guess i will find out tomorrow what is in "store" for me. Is this a bonus situation if I have to go a second time and spend 2 hours when they said the shop needed me to stay 15-20 minutes? I would think so. It looked like such an easy shop.
Sandyf...was this an upscale decorating shop? I went to do it Saturday (60)
miles to find it closed, appt. only on Saturdays. Nothing said about calling,
you'd think they'd be open Saturday. Wondering if it's the same shop on Robertson. I haven't gotten 4 shops I applied for, they have shoppers up the gazoo, everybody likes them.

Live consciously....

It was "mid upscale" what ever that is... toilets/sinks/tubs. Not a showroom but a store. No mention on the door about appointments only and when I called and said I would stop by in the next few days they did not mention needing an appt. Perhaps it is a new shop for them??? Or I went on a busy day when both sales persons had a 3 hour consultation??? They said they are checking with the client on how to proceed...Melrose...I walked from work so at least there was no gas involved. (of either type..lol)

I am pretty sure that BH scheduler will work this out for you. Do not panic yet. Stuff happens and it will not be the last time.
Hi cymb.and others..i got an email from the scheduler this morning saying the client wanted me to fill in the form with all the info I had...so i did a whole lot of "did not discusses" and then in the space for a narrative on a particular product at the bottom wrote the whole sad story. I still cannot believe this retailer would want a potential customer to leave and hope they come back again sometime. I could have wanted to outfit my entire house in their products which would have been bathroom and kitchen sinks, tubs, toilets and other related items...they would have made quite a bunch had I been a real customer. And being in a large city there are so many other upscale stores selling the same exact product within blocks of this store...I would have gone elsewhere...they were nice but not having anyone even to ask what I was interested in during open business hours???cynb Wrote:

What coincidences!
Today, I wanted to post a bathroom fixture shop from BH as fun, fun, fun. So lovely a change of scenery for me, that I've signed up for more.
I've also found that the sales staff doesn't greet, never mind approach, so that consider your 15 minute inquiry an overly generous gift. They're as cold as the surface of the products they sell- an occupational requirement ?
Perhaps in the future if all their locations are like the one i went to they will require a 2-3 hour consultation and pay accordingly. I think the customers were as cold as fish! While I was browsing a male and female couple were there. The female started climbing into a tub fully clothed about 3 feet from me. I commented in a joking way about it to her. In any other store they would have laughed but these two just scowled at me as if to say..how dare you speak when not spoken to. Not to mention that I thought I certainly looked more upscale than those two did so they were not looking down their noses at me. But, it was an interesting shop nevertheless. Of course I will feel otherwise if I don't get paid. But at this point I think i will.
