Ath and those bank shops

Did anyone else just get the email for a phone bank shop? I went in and it sid $9.75, so I applied for a bunch. I then recevied another email and it looked the same, so I went in and sure enough it was the same thing, but for $2.75!!

Ah! $2.75?? Are they friends with Market Force?

Sounds as scammy as their in-person bank shops. Is it the same bank, named after the building Congress is in?
No, different bank! This is one I've personally never heard of, but named after a famous fish market section of Manhattan. The congress drive-up bank shop was a breeze. 29 questions, short narratives, took me 30 minutes total.
Sounds like ATH is consistent jugheaded. The $2.75 was probably a typo. Considering your track record with them, you don't want to ask, unless it's a different scheduler

So the Congress bank drive-in is just a deposit-withdrawal, as opposed to the combined shop? I haven't done any Congress since they left their former MSP, but there are no drive-in shops here. Can't decide what to do with that account.
yes, just drive in. BUT- of course there is a problem! They claim the imagine I uploaded is too small. They are also calling it a "card" rather than a deposit slip. *SIGH* Having been a third level tech support rep for software before my kids were born, I have what I would call an above-average knowledge on how to scan an image, and computers in general. The image was actually on the large side, so who knows what really happened there- but now I'm hoping there is not a problem.
YOU know computers, I know computers, but they generally know nothing. I build my own computers and do repair, and I had a big argument with a scheduler when I told her there were javascript errors in the links. She insisted it was my computer or my Firefox, or my whatever. None of the links worked, even in IE, so I submitted a page to the Mozilla Web Developers forum.

Speaking of bank shops, does anyone know what companies shop Bank of America, Key Bank, 1st Niagara and Citizens banks?
You mean the motorcycle MS company where you can get nekkid if you want?

Yea, we are awaiting the new avatar for that one, Cettie! :-)

LOL!! That is pretty much what I did!
We're so glad you're trying out all these ATH shops for us. Saves us a lot of trouble.
They're baaaa-ack! $15, $17 "add to retail readiness" and the verbage "You will fill out two forms for this visit"...

Which means, you will do a shop FOR FREE!

No thanks.
Too bad you don't live in my county. (I'm north of the city.) I think we could have a blast together. I'm a very funny person.

Are you old enough to remember where "They're baaaa-ack!" comes from?
Oh gee, the bank shops no longer ask if teller performance was a "WOW" and/or what would have been needed to make it a "WOW". Stupidly I took 3 shops. Probably won't get paid for one because chippie teller wore no name tag, had no name plate, didn't respond to my ploy to get her name and for Pete's sake, didn't give me a bloody receipt for my transaction. When I asked for one she hand wrote the current balance of my account on a blank deposit slip so I don't even have her teller number!

I'm in a wretched mood already because a shop got rejected because I "bought the wrong thing". Duh, I bought exactly what I was specifically instructed on my individualized paperwork to buy and was supposed to question their infinite wisdom of having me order the wrong thing for that time of day??
Bad moon day, for sure, Flash. Good thing tomorrow is coming. I HATE those kind of days. Usually, for me though, they are my own fault, due to lack of sleep. :-(

No, rejected shop was from another doofus.

The Ath bank shop got bounced back to me for teller # which, since it is not the policy of the bank to give receipts for withdrawals, I did not have. Yet certainly a customer withdrawal is an acceptable transaction in both the instructions and the questionnaire. So I added a blurb about my balance being handwritten on a receipt form with no teller number, that receipts are not given with a withdrawal and sent it flying. The job seems to have been accepted. I had already sent them the timed and dated printout the teller had given me that had the handwritten 'receipt' attached. Gotta love when the instructions don't fit the job.
Ugh. That was like my baby/toy shop issue. Instructions just not clear, and that was the end of that.
Now I have thoroughly had it with Ath! They just bounced back all the banks I did for them this week as "Incomplete shops", sending me the following email:

"There was an error made on the programming of the forms you just submitted over the past few days. Please assist us by going in to your shops which will be found in incomplete status and help us by filling in the answers. We appreciate in advance your cooperation with this matter."

Yes indeedy, 4 new questions not covered in the guidelines and a new 4-5 sentence narrative. For 75 cents LESS than last year? And just how often do you as a 'normal customer' ask, ASK, ASK!!! the teller their 'Teller ID#'??? These are not 'programming' mistakes, these are new stuff they are tacking on to completed work because they f**ked up.
That is just wrong! They should just pay someone to reshop. Pay you to reshop!

Luckily I could answer the additional stuff mostly. But the notion of adding observations after the fact is indeed just wrong. Plus it shows very little respect to shoppers for their time because although it may not take terribly long to go back and revisit a shop to add more "stuff" it is extra work.
The same bounce back just happened to me with that same error message. In addition they reduced the $9.75 they had been paying for these same drive-up shops in December, down to $9.00. The observation stuff they asked for was extra narrative boxes, in addition to other added question boxes.

Bottom line, they have reduced the pay on these shops and significantly added extra questions and narratives to the report. Adding insult to injury, they ask for the additions after the reports were submitted. In my case 5 reports.

I completed over 50 successful shops for them last year and I will not accept any further assignments under these conditions. It is clear to me they don't care about walking all over their shoppers.

This is my first post on this board, but I felt I needed to vent and warn other shoppers about this company.
I have never shopped for them, as they have only a couple of shops here, like the CC at TRU (and we only have one in HI...), and they always are gone when I get there...But...now I don't want to shop for them. They screw up and are making it be the onus of the shopper.
