Market Force is one of the best companies around. They are almost all self assign shops which I prefer to schecules who can be great or have the attitude and
intelligence of a snake. I will take self assign shops any time. I have
done a geat deal of work ofr Market Force and some for Certified. I am somewhat
disabled and not able to do merchandising, but I do mystery shops and trailer checks for Certified. I have seen some inprovement already since Market Force
bougth them. I do not feel Market Force will tolerate bad treatment of shoppers.
If you have a problem with Certified, try e mailing the help desk and Marlet Force. I did this once and my problem was resolved almost immediatelyl. I think
Market Force will get them up to a good performance level but it will take
a little time.By7 the way, I think Market Force has the best software of anyone
I use.

I tend to agree with John. I have worked for Certified for about a year. But I workded for Market Force way back when it was still Shop N Check. ( I worked for them for over 5 years)
I like Market Forces way of self assigning, as you can pick several days to do them, that way I can bundle several in the same part of town. Kinda like double pleasure, double you fun. LOL
I am doing a cell phone for them on the 4th, and I have 5 merchanizing jobs for Certified with in a mile of the cell phone. The merchandizing ones are really simple, go in an replace some phone cards.
I find the shops easy, entertaining some times. Never have had a problem with pay, it always there when it is suppose to be.
I will continue to work for both companies, as long as I can.

At least in my area, Market Force assignments are plenty but don't pay anything. They have some lengthy fast food shops that actually cost us shoppers more money in the end due to low reimbursements (not enough to cover required expense) and next to no shopper fees to pay us for our time. In fact, many Market Force shops by me (NJ) ONLY pay the reimbursement amount. So, I don't understand why it's worth anyone's time to shop for Market Force at this point, considering they really don't pay anything. Heck, I make more money on amazon mechanical turk than I would doing the market force shops in my area. I think the only market force shops that actually pay well are the tax shops, but the requirements are very strict and I would NEVER do a tax shop for security reasons. So, my question is, why shop Market Force?? How is it worth the pay for those of you enjoy shopping for them? Hopefully, they will acquire Certified completely and post Certified's shops on their site including the trailer checks and THEN I may consider working for them again.

Wow, these posts sure are interesting. I have been working with certified for 3 - 4 years and have never had a problem with them. The key is communication. if there is a problem you have to call them, don't send an email. I have had to cancel shops, reschedule jobs and such and have not been deactivated. I do more merchandising work for them than anything else, and I even had a job that I completely messed up on. It was a twice a month job, and I had to do a return to vendor on some CD's, I was already late and then I lost the prepaid return address label. I was still paid for the job but they do not assign that particular job to me any longer. Paychecks come twice a month like clockwork. I am sorry so many people have had issues. They don't pay great but the jobs are almost always easy.

I've been reading all of the posts here. I'm just wondering if I should deactivate my account after hearing all of this. I've been with Certified since last year. I haven't had a problem yet, but I'm scared now! LOL Thanks for the info guys!

NO, if they didn't deactivate you yet, you minus well stay with them. Just work for them with the knowledge that they most likely will deactivate you for something stupid eventually. I always tell people to go ahead and work for them at first and make whatever money you can from them, but just don't get too comfortable with them knowing they will eventually drop you for no good reason at all.

They will just drop you and the only way you find out is you can't log on the web site. I shopped for them for four years and had no problem then all of a sudden shop I did got picked on. Then one day I could not log in. If you get dropped you may be able to talk them into letting you come back. I did not want to go any farther.

I enjoy working for certifiedfield very much, itis mainly merchandising jobs and that is what I like. Not alot of pay put a bunch togeather. Right now you do what you need to do. Along with my main merchandising job, this keeps me busy.

Absolutely horrendous company to work for. Someone above asked a great question, and it's a question I would like to know as well. How do they stay in business given such high turnover, and shops that clearly sit because they pay such a ridiculously low amount?

Also, does anyone know how many Schedulers the company operates with? Do they treat their Schedulers as awful as the Schedulers treat the shoppers?

Any info on this company from anyone more in the know would be greatly appreciated, as this company, and parent company Market Force simply intrigue me in how they get away with half the stuff they get away with ... more so Certified.

There are multiple threads on this board with info more recent than two years ago, discussing Certified and its current parent company Market Force-it's referred to in many threads as "purple portal". Why kick this ancient thread up?
