web secret shopper

Has anyone ever heard of a websecret shopper. Someone sent me some info on it and just wanted to find out if anyone has done this before. What it is...they give you websites to go to and you fill out the forms for trial periods and then you have to cancel. Also, just fill out forms. I don't really understand but they pay $10.00 an hour. You have to take a snapshot of your completed jobs and the time you finished.

Any thoughts?

Haven't heard of this specific one I don't think, but the ones I have looked at want you to sign up for a number of offers. If you are comfortable with the spam, junk mail, phone calls and similar follow up to having provided "leads" to you, it may be that eventually you will see some $. If you like handing out your credit card information to companies to use the "free" trial period that it is then difficult to get them to cancel before your credit card gets charged, it may be that eventually you will see some $. But ask yourself if the pay is worth the hassle?

I did this for 2 different companies. 1 paid me and one never did. Don't sign up for the trials I had one charge my card before the trial period was over. The company I worked for that actually paid, was called asecretshopper.org. They have a choice you can do all the inquires and not the trials and get paid $15 or do the whole page w/ the trials for $30. I reccommend doing just the inquiries. The form is easy and its fast. Easy 15 bucks! But the trials are a pain! The company that I think is shady that never paid was mysteryinternetshopper.com

I signed up with one web shopping company - don't remember what it was and decided I would never do it again. This was six months ago and I am still getting voice mail follow ups and email follow ups and my spam multiplied. Not worth the trouble.
