Is this one ligit and do they pay nowadays? I'm sort of still freaked out from the one that doesn't pay or the one we need to keep pushing asking yanking our money back from our sweat labor. Thanks all.

Many of the companies have names that are too similar. There is a Secret Shopping Services (note the 's' on the end of Services) that has been around at least a couple of years. I am signed up with them but have never found jobs in my area with reasonable pay for expectations so have done nothing with them.

I do note there were pay complaints in 2007 but I have seen nothing on the boards lately good or bad.

I just found one shop I think I could do but wanna wait and see if others have any comments on the company first....

I've done one shop for them about 6 months that was scheduled through Kern (whose schedulers I love). The pay was above average for a purchase/return and the report form had the usual start to finish narrative. On-time pay and no issues at all. I'd work for them again.
