Many of the companies have names that are too similar. There is a Secret Shopping Services (note the 's' on the end of Services) that has been around at least a couple of years. I am signed up with them but have never found jobs in my area with reasonable pay for expectations so have done nothing with them.

I do note there were pay complaints in 2007 but I have seen nothing on the boards lately good or bad.

I've done one shop for them about 6 months that was scheduled through Kern (whose schedulers I love). The pay was above average for a purchase/return and the report form had the usual start to finish narrative. On-time pay and no issues at all. I'd work for them again.
