T C A Mktg Assoc.??

I got a letter with a $1200 check. Looks like a company check. I called them and told them I'd wait until it cleared the bank before I proceeded with shopping. I also have to send $900 of it to them money gram. Has anyone heard of this company? Does this sound legit? Thanks

If it seems to be good to be true, IT IS. Smart cookie to wait for the check to clear.

Don't wait for the check to clear! Your bank will charge you for a bad check.

Good advice from Sneakers, although my bank doesn't charge me if I receive bounced checks. Know your bank.

If you are not registered with the company that sent you the check, it's a scam.
Shopping companies will only send you money if it's part of your assigned job, or to get paid.
