I was recently rejected by A Closer Look.

Does anyone have any experience with this company positive or negative?

Why did they reject me? The reply didn't give any reason. I am not underage, but in my forties. It was one of the first 5 or so companies I applied to.

A Closer Look requires a decent, well-written paragraph during the application process. Maybe your paragraph wasn't up to their standards?

I think they are also looking for more experienced shoppers, so you may want to try again once you have been shopping for a while and done more shops. This is frequently a "Catch 22" because as a new shopper you want to sign up with lots of companies, but lots of companies want shoppers who are already "proven" by surviving in the business for a while with a history of success.

I shop for them but they only have 2 companies locally. I love one and it has a longer rotation. The other I am mixed about and do it when I feel like eating there, but it's rotation just doubled. They are very fussy on the narrative (just the facts, maam, and perfectly written, but shorter than most FD I do. I finally got two in a row that they didn't ding me for something or other on. I think it took me a while longer to figure out their writing style than most of the MSC's I work for.
