Anyone heard of Shoppers View? Scam or No?

I got this email today to shop a local pawn shop.

"Hi MN shoppers!
SHOP TYPE: Pawn/Loan
PAY: $50.00 shop fee, $50.00 reimbursement ($8.00 bonus)
LOCATION: (I removed that for this forum)
DUE DATE: 2012-06-29
SHOP DESCRIPTION :
Shoppers' View is paying $50 for quick turn around pawn/scrap gold shops. You must pawn your item by the due date.

You will be visiting a pawn shop and pawning a piece of gold jewelry (YOU PROVIDE THE REAL GOLD JEWELRY ITEM). Three business days later, you will return and retrieve the item you pawned and pay back the pawn loan. You will need to note the karats, weight, price paid per gram, and scan front and back copies of all receipts (original pawn ticket and receipt) to Shoppers' View.

You will be reimbursed for all fees, plus paid $50. You must pawn your item by the due date."

It seems like a scam, just judging from the large fee.

Shoppers View is a legit company. Tell me what state and I will see if it is really on their job board...

Shopping Bama and parts of Georgia.
I'm still learning 24/7.

The only thing I've seen on their job site in my area is a bunch of $2.00 phone calls.

Since you've gotten an email instead of seeing it on their jobsite, I would suggest calling up the scheduler, or the company from their real site, especially
if you don't recall signing up with them.

Good luck.

There was something being sent to my email about some gold shops a couple of months ago but I don't remember if it was Shopper's View or not. They were paying the shoppers at first, but the shoppers were making more money than the company thought, so they stopped paying a shoppers' fee.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart..."
I've done one shop for them, no problem getting paid. However, when you see a high reimbursement being offered, check the validity. If they say "email me if interested", I'd check to see if you got emails from that person before. If not, contact the company through the website directly. I've had some really good schedulers email me though with bonuses and higher pay because they think highly of my work and need the job done right.

I've had schedulers email me offering shops that are not on the boards.I don't think this pawn shop seems like a scam, Shoppers View is legitimate. They are not asking you to mail gold to them, right??
