Date switch?

Perfect, I setup on the phone to do 3 merchandising jobs with an increase for travel on the 9th. I go to view the details and such and they say due the 6th! I may not even have the POP before the 6th, what gives?

I wrote to the company via their post message option telling them I was confused as I agreed to do the jobs on the 9th. I asked why it says the 6th and will doing them on the 9th as I agreed cause me to be in trouble. Their reply? They must be done within 48 hours of receiving the POP. Um, not really clear on the date to be done there is it?

Seems they will not budge so now I have to back out as my work has me the opposite direction on the 6th and 7th and in my own town the 8th. I am not happy with this company.

I have a similar problem but not quite the same.

Let's say I signed up for 3 shops with one company, didn't hear from them so accepted other shops - then notified I have the 3, but when I go to check my
page it's not 3 but 8 shops assigned to me....no way I'm going to flake on the
other shops who give proper notice and don't fool you. This is the third scheduler from the same company I've had problems with - and I'm P)_*()&()^)^)_&*_
)*)&()& with them at this point.
I would notify them. That you have accepted other shops prior to receiving notification.
@ Lisa - MF purple portal tongue sticking out smiley Today they had me drive out 70 miles round trip and NO precall. Got there and spent an hour finding the person in charge and figuring out the product was not even at the store yet. I will not take anything from them again unless it is IN my town.

@ shoppin - Yeah I agreed to do the setups at 3 stores in one day, agreed that day would be the 9th. Now I have 6 jobs, I have to call the stores when I get the stuff. Then I have to do the setups AND no set date yet the due date says the 6th. I wrote to cancel if it is not acceptable to complete the setups on the 9th. I have no issues with calling in. Save me a trip if the stuff isn't there.

@ ff - I did notify them, 3 times now. 1) when I agreed to do it. 2)when I saw the wrong date. and 3) when I reiterated that I could only do it the 9th as I am certain I agreed or not at all. They just seem to be....refusing to face the reality that they messed up.
My instincts were right, LOL! Just stick to your guns, they will railroad people at every opportunity and with them it is always good to get everything in writingwinking smiley

My shops are different than yours Katherine.
I wrote her last night and asked for 2 more days to complete the "surprise" shops but didnt call them that.

This is a company that has good shops, but these schedulers and some of them do the editing too, are not very nice.

Yeah, Lisa, I'm finding that out - didn't expect the railroading from this company, like Bestmark does. Maybe some of their new schedulers/editors used to be with Bestmark...but if they keep it up I wont take any of their shops either.
What I do : If I accept 3 shops from a company, I write it down and keep it next to the computer. If I do not get accepted within 48 hours, I can assume I won't be getting those. But one time, 3 days went by and I got accepted but by that time my calendar was jammed. But still I squeezed them in ...

By the same token, if I am waiting for 3 shops and one NO GO (already filled) comes in, I scratch it off the list next to the computer...
Well, got the stuff done on my terms. Does not look like I will be paid for that trip where the product was not at the store. UG. No more work from the purple portal.
