Marketforce jobs availability

How does your search screen look like?

When I search in a 100 miles radius, I can find only 17 jobs and a lot of phone jobs.

Did anybody hear anything. Are they closing?

Hi there

Mine is like that too in Minnesota and all the wireless jobs are gone. One day there were tons of them and the next all were gone. My sister is a shopper in Ca. and said it is the same in her area....very strange

Dianne
I just went in through my old Shop 'N Check bookmark which now has changed the front page to read Market Force. All the shops I looked at last evening are still there and there are no phone shops. Of course they may have fixed it by now.
It must be my area in Texas.

I searched a radius of 200 miles, there were 26 jobs, some fast food and plenty of phone pizza shops.
I just wasn't sure whether you were perhaps going in through an old Market Force portal that is now being put to other uses.

TNS, for example, now has both a SASSIE site and a ClientSmart site and jobs are being posted at the ClientSmart rather than the SASSIE, Similarly Goodwin has an old ??? site and a new Prophet site but still persists in posting on the old site. I hate it when they do that stuff because it doubles the job boards to check to see what is where.
I do not know about closing. I know they merged with shop n check and speedmark. Shop n check is basically fast food. So I have been seeing too many fast food shops with Marketforce since they merged.
I'm not quite sure who bought whom, but at this point the old Shop n Check site has jobs that used to be posted by SG Marketing (now part of the 'family') as well as shops from Speedmark. This makes a conglomeration of fast food, upscale casual dining, automotive, cellular, and banks in my area. A bank I used to do for $35 that is now $18 is a perfect example of what is happening to the shops in the company consolidation.
The major bank chain that SG does IS NOT on my MF site, but it's not on the SG site either.

hawdianne and vero--

My MFI page looks normal. I shop a 15 mile radius and there are about 100-150 shops listed daily. I don't see much difference, except the new auto dealerships and oil changes. I do a lot of their supermarkets, a chain in the NY-NJ Metro area. The wireless shops are there, but more of them. They might have certain chains on a rotation in your area, and they'll be back.
sneakers:

they always had the grocery chain, then there were 1-2 weeks nothing, then they were back. Now since 4 weeks nothing is back. Since April I did 63 jobs for them.

In a 200 miles radius I see 17 fast food, 4 oil change, 7 audits, 2 buying club, 5 car dealer, 2 electronic stores, 2 picture developments, 2 petroleum, 4 wireless and over 50 phone pizza jobs, but most of them are 50+ miles away.

I also checked SG Marketing and Speedmark.

I searched SG. Their job board doesn't show anything for TX.
Speedmark shows a total of 4 jobs in TX.
Point #1 is certain jobs are not available anymore in a radius of 200 miles
Point #2 is there were always jobs in my town and the next closest 5 towns,
which don't excist anymore, and I check daily once or twice.
In a radius of 30 miles I can find 1 oil change and 5 pizza phone
jobs, that's all.

I was starting this thread to see if something was wrong with them. To get information if this is a temporary situation. This was one of the companies I did the most jobs with, because they were close to home.

I guess I have to shop for different companies now.
I have noticed more fast food shops in my area from them. Michigan here I know that is because they merged with shop n check. Shop in Check is the queen of fast foods.
Are you using this location to sign in? [www.shopnchekshopper.com]

This is the old Shop N Check site that has become Market Force. If you were going in from an old Market Force site it may well be that everything has just been moved on over.
There are lots of (lower-paying) shops out here for them. No one seems to be biting!

Rotation dictates what is available on your locations available.
All stores have different rotation.

That's what I said.
Last year, before they announced the merger, Shop N' Chek stopped having as many assignments for the summer. I suspect they have a summer lull now. I am getting many assignments with them: grocery, a fast food restaurant, and phone assignments, among others. Several of my companies have more phone and web assignments than usual. Do you suppose this is their way of combating the price of gas?

I look for phone and web shops. Any suggestions of MSC's that
pay decent for the time involved. I like the 10 minute total investment
for $5-10 type, No, I have not done and will not be doing the funerals shops!!!
:-)

Hi from Canada

Yes, the merge took place here too, SG Marketing (also with Sassie), Certified Reports Inc., Speedmark and Shop N' Chek. The portals are different colours for each one, so even though they are all under Marketforce, you still have to log in separately. And for SG you have to log into Sassie for the Bank jobs.

No, if they wanted to do that, they would raise their fees. A phone shop doesn't replace an in-person shop, it's just a diff kind of shop. MFI is "combating gas prices" by offering a stupid sweepstakes instead of higher fees. It's really insulting. Another co offered a "$2 bonus for gas" yesterday. Another scheduler wrote to forget about the gas and do it for the company's sake. I see she's been moved to a diff dept.

Here, the SG jobs got converted into the SnC base. I imagine most will over time. I corresponded with someone there and she said they miss the shopper contact, too, so that's my guess. i think they have less and less as they merger pulls more into SnC.

I like to look in different areas of the country to see what's available. A few months ago there were cafe shops available, and now I see that they're being released in NY and MI, but not here in MN. I kind of wish they would come back...

Marketforce has some of THE BEST SHOPS in my opinion.. they pay low, but they're somewhat easy and shop for things I already need and want.
Hummm I just got an email from Market Force they are having their own company even though they umbrella the others. I signed up and they say they have shops in my area. Not sure what kind of shops yet.

Well I guess they rotate in other states now.

I live in TX and I checked today. In a radius of 50 miles, they have 3 jobs left, and in a radius of 30 miles there is only one phone job left.

From March to June I did over 100 jobs with them. I liked the grocery jobsand the car dealer.
I would be interested in knowing the sign up site for the "new MF site:, as I shopped/currently shop for snc, speedmark/customer impact, sg marketing, and certified. all are in the MF site, some combined. where this new place? i hope they move all those awful gas audits and ff's there! and keepthe good stuff! I used to get 10-20 bank shops a month through my schedulers with sg, always in rotation. I now can't sign that many unless I want to travel across the island. MF is not helping me. I do lots of other shops, but the MF/SG mktg bank shops in my area are very well paying and the rates did not change when they moved the shops. Only the number I can request and or see. :-( on the other hand, they introduced me to speedmark, and I got a couple of $$$ shops for them recently..

I'm confused about the SG banks. There are dozens here, but they're not on the MFI site, the one I cited above, or the SG site. Where are you finding them?
Here's the answer for you: They're still keeping the 4 separate websites. But I still don't see the banks anywhere.
