Grrr!!! A Market Force rant!

Help Desk is excellent at overriding your "limit", esp. if you have been shopping with them for while. MF is my bread and butter, I know my # will be up, only a matter of time; about to hit the 2,000 jobs completed mark.

Amazing - you have the highest # of job I've heard of with MF. I'm just under 1,000. They are not my bread and butter, but I enjoy the ff lunch while I'm out doing 7-8 other shops and I need to eat.

Yikes, I feel so jinxed, I've been working for them for 8ish years and dread the day I am deactivated; know it is coming. I simply can't find another company to generate the constant paydays they do. Registered with 50+ companies, routinely shop for about 20 or so monthly. The scariest part is that MF is buying up so many of their competitors.
Yes, I also hope I do not become deactivated with them. As far as I know, I have only one error on record, but they made an exception for the timing and I was paid. The other two errors, I challenged and they agreed I was right. Phew! They have taken over numerous msc's shops, the latest is the upscale skin/hair product retail store in the malls.

Love their products, I am all over those assignments when they are released. Those are with $0 shop fee simply for the reimbursement! Good luck with MF, keep me posted and vice versa.
This is not a rant but more of a question. However, since this is a discussion on Market Force I thought it might be a good place to ask it. Or maybe not please don't think I am trying to change the subject. Just had a question about Market Force. Did market Force take over Shop N Check? I tried to sign up with this company off Jacob's list but when I click on the link I get Market Force.

That skin/hair care shop have switched msc three times, but I love MF's report the most, as it is the easiest! I don't mind no fee because the reimb. covers a shampoo/lotion.

Yes, about three years ago, three msc merged into Market Force Internatonal.

Either him or Lapeir.

I have done hundreds of shops for MF. Overall, I have had a good experience with them because I have made exactly 2 mistakes out of almost 300 shops. One time the mistake was clearly my fault and they didn't pay me (that's fair). Another time, I forgot a shop was "special order", but they still paid me.

I recently had a, let's call it, "very frustrating experience" with MF. I shopped a fast food chain, but when I uploaded my receipts I accidentally uploaded receipts from a previous shop without realizing it. The receipts were labeled with a different job number and were for a completely different date and location. A few days later I received an email that my shop had been invalidated because I shopped the wrong location. I immediately responded and told them what likely had happened. I attached the correct receipts. They said that it was too late; a re-shop had already been assigned to someone else.

After doing so many shops without issue for them, they could not even ASK if I had indeed shopped the wrong location before invalidating the shop???? I went back and forth with the helpdesk a couple of times, and was receiving canned responses like "100% accuracy is essential to our program". So I gave up, but will be very hesitant to accept less than optimal bonuses for shops in the future. Apparently they have NO flexibility or common courtesy, even for shoppers who have a history of doing excellent work for them.

Originally I worked almost exclusively for MF, but have since begun working with other companies. I have found that other companies, such as CORI, actually have nicer bonuses and seem to be less "mysterious".

Another thing...I wonder if sudden deactivations are associated with the number of cancelled and/or rescheduled shops. I know they both count against you, but I wonder if when you reach a certain number you are automatically deactivated. Just a thought.
Glad to know they are freaking perfect. 100% accuracy they might get from a machine, but then again maybe not since I've had problems with their reporting system.

Yes everything counts against you in some form and it is based on an actual number. I was shocked when they told me that as little as 3 errors could cause deactivation. I politely pointed out that 3 errors for a shopper with 10 shops was 30% and is substantial. For a shopper with 500 shops that becomes a 0.6% error rate which in my mind is damn near perfectsmiling smiley

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

I once wrote to them about an obvious error with one of their online forms. No response. No change to the form. So much for 100%.

You are lucky. I did something like this after many many years and they deactivated me without a question. I am making more money with less shops without them. I have been able to get along without MF. I do miss the easy shops. I am now into video shopping and love it and the Pay is so much worth it.

Funny you should mention that, I found the same thing after cutting back drastically on the their shops.
