It is very rare that I get a shop at their job board.

Haven't worked for them this year, and they were one of my tops.....guess clients are playing musical shops.
Live consciously....
I try to avoid their generally underpaid shops.

I love BARE. Made lots of money on the "scenario" shops. They only have Scenario C's in my area, I don't do those. However, the available shop count is quite low in my area, as well.
Love the company. Fewer shops in my So. Cal area too.

I pick and choose but I have been personally called and given wonderful luxe shops from them many times. $70 and up....never a problem and always great scores. Maybe it is by area but there is always alot on the board though I am choosy...I work full time so I have to limit myself.

I was shopping the Texas steakhouse for them pretty regularly until last April - I did 2 locations in April 2011 and haven't seen them again. It had gotten to be my favorite shop....

Thanks, everyone, for letting me know what you're seeing. My whole state continues to look pretty empty as far as the job board goes.
I just received 8 e mails from Bare, 7 are for retail shops, six from one scheduler and 2 from another, and I've never worked for them before.
They're all for retail shops with expendiutres ranging from $35.00 to $400.00
As I read it, it has to be put on your credit card and takes about 20 days for your money to be refunded to the card.
I'm thinking of changing my name here to "cautious shopper", because I'm soured on laying out my money at all for MSC's - never again, only minimal amounts and unless it's for an item I would have bought anyway.

How long before you can self assign with Bare? I have done 6 shops all 10's but not able to yet.
they always offer the most unusual, strange shops. Doing a bunch of shops for them this month. Have worked with them for years always pay on time. Good company.

The package shops are back with a flurry of activity in my area ...
There was quite a few package shops last month and early this month. Not much now. In Philly area.
I haven't seen regular package shops for two months until today... a bunch were posted today. I don't like to do the dim weight ones. I've been holding on to a few things to mail to my parents out of state and can now get them outta here!

Yes they have been a bit scarce over the last month or so.

Yep, they've had the contract for awhile. I did one of those late last summer for the other MSC.
As for the thread titles, I got a barrage of emails for shipping shops within the past couple of days. I keep getting one for a restaurant as well, but it's way too far away from me, even though there is a hefty bonus attached. Haven't seen any apartment shops in my area in months, same for the lingerie. They do also offer an amusement shop that is offered by the Amusement MSC and I don't quite understand how they are both offered and both seem to be reimbursement only either through tickets or monies paid...

I have done about 7 shops for them all 10's. I applied for 2 shops (still pending). When I go to click on more shops, the website doesn't respond. It won't even let me look at other locations. Is this their website or something else? My internet had been buggy lately so was wondering.
AND...when do you finally get to self assign for them? Thanks bunches!

SecretAgentMom - I've found their website to be one of the more "buggy" ones in terms of pages stallling when I click on them. I figured they must do their maintenance based on a slow European timezone when I'm trying to use their website here in the U.S.!

I have done 19 shops for BARE (28 after next week, doing a USPS route) and I still can't self assign. I've found that by responding to the scheduler's emails I have been assigned right away, however. It helps if you have a good working relationship with your scheduler.

I have done 19 shops for BARE (28 after next week, doing a USPS route) and I still can't self assign. I've found that by responding to the scheduler's emails I have been assigned right away, however. It helps if you have a good working relationship with your scheduler.
Would you consider asking a scheduler why you cannot self-assign at this point?
I love the purchase/return shops they have this month for the big box retailer...easiest shop and there was 6 at each store. Wish these were every month things that I could pick up as a regular route! Good pay for quick and easy shop with just a few questions to answer.

I saw the big box retailer too and wanted to do it, but the closest one is 110 miles away, even though there are two of the same big box in my city 
To those that were asking about the steakhouse mystery shops, my scheduler told me that BARE no longer has the account.
I haven't found who handles the new steakhouse shops, but I would love a hint!
