does maritz pay strictly one check per month? or is it several?

i seem to recall that i get paid monthly by maritz. however, my last payment was only for $50 which covered only 4 shops on the invoice. there are about 30 shops missing. do they split up several checks per month? or is it only one check per month? i can't seem to find their payment policy anywhere on their website. and payment information isn't listed in the shop guidelines.

I don't know what their stated payment policy is, but I received 3 checks from them in December, roughly 2 weeks apart.

Their regular pay schedule is 2 checks a month, the 15th and the end of the month. That is the cutoff days. Sometimes it's a little off, I think in December they tried to clear their books and sent the 3rd check. They are basically a month after the day the shop was completed. If you completed a shop the 13th of Feb, you would get paid int the March 15th check run. I don't know if I have ever seen their pay schedule written out, but that is what I have observed.

Shops completed and submitted by the 15th are paid by check in the beginning of the next month, somewhere between the last day of the month and first week. Shops completed between the 16th and EOM are paid around the 15th of the following month,or shortly thereafter. So right about now, I'm expecting a check for the jobs I did 2/16-2/29.

They are great at paying, as long as you remember to submit your invoice. I have forgotten a couple of times and they have been very helpful. But then the payment goes on the next cycle. They still allow you to mail in your receipts...but that delays payment because they don't issue the checks until they have all the info. Love doing shops for them because I know I am going to get paid quickly and regularly.

okay, so maybe it's just coming in different checks then. i submit my invoices daily if i complete assignments that day.

okay, i think that one of the checks may have gotten lost in the mail then. i'm going to have to research it.

I would call. They are usually very good about paying. Even when I have forgotten to submit my invoices they have worked with me.

Once in a while Maritz will miss paying for a job. Especially if you have done several on the same day. If you don't get paid by the second pay cycle contact them (keep track of the invoice number they give you for each job) and you will get your pay in the next cycle. They are excellent about paying regularly but mistakes can happen.

i just received a second payment from maritz about a week after the last one. it contains the remaining invoices. not sure why they were spread only a week apart.
