haven't seen many A, B, C, or D shops

Is something going on with these shops? I haven't seen very many of them listed. And, while I get emails from the MSC on a daily basis, none are about these shops. Regular A, Ready Post, or any of the others. Does anyone know anything? Would really love to have them back--if they are indeed gone. They were my bread and butter.

I signed up to do competitor shops with the company. Not sure when the regular ones will be back.
In my world there are tons of them...mostly all D's I think 12.50 pay and $40.40 reimbursement.

I have never done them, I don't really know the difference of A,B,C,D.
A is a box you buy before the shop (or you can use one you already have) It has to be a normal size and weight at least 18 oz. B is a Ready Post. You have to buy an envelop or mailer from the Ready Post display while you are there. A PITA because the clerks can see what you are doing. C is Dim Weight (oversized) and I never do them because there is too much of an outlay. Hope this helps. I see the competitor shops but there aren't many of them and none of them are very close to me.
jersey. The Redi Post is easy. Stop by your PO and purchase one. Ready to do your shop? Make up your package in this envelope. Just purchase a replacement as part of your shop...grinning smiley

Shopping Bama and parts of Georgia.
I'm still learning 24/7.

I spoke to a scheduler at this company. Here's what I found out.

They regularly offer A's, B's and C's during a three month quarter usually about three weeks apart for the different classes. They are also required to do one D (random A) and one E (random cool smiley at each location within a six month period. The A's and B's are snapped up pretty quickly for most areas because they are really easy to do. The C's are a lot harder to schedule because most shoppers won't do them due to the expenditures and cash outlay required for each shop and the fact that you can't re-use your shipping materials from one shop to the next.

The D's and E's are usually not listed on the Job Board for a location until all three of the regular classes (A, B and C) have been completed for the period. However, you can ask your scheduler what D's and E's they have available and schedule them that way.

I am a little confused by MrC's response regarding the B (ReadyPost shops). The B's and E's are the only shops that don't reimburse you for a box purchase. They do reimburse you for the mailer that you pack your box into for shipping but not the box itself. The A's, C's, D's and F's all reimburse you for your box purchase, if required.
