Road trip help needed please

I am wondering how you send in your reports when on a road trip. eg: hotel shops or just trips away from home. I have only done local shops and send the reports in from home where I have access to my printer/fax machine.

When you do the hotel shops or airport shops while travelling, where and how do you access the machines to copy receipts and fax the reports in?

Personally, I don't work with any companies that require anything be faxed. It's much easier to photograph the receipt and upload with the report or e-mail. Most hotels do have business centers where things can be printed. They also may provide printing and faxing. If not you and you really feel it necessary to copy and/or fax, any number of office supply stores and FedEX Kinko's are available.

If I am going to be away from home for 24 hours I take my laptop and my digital camera. Most hotels have wi-fi and if not, usually IHOP, McDonalds or Starbucks have wi-fi.

You can get portable printers that fit in a laptop carrier bag. A lot of places such as hotel lobbies, airports, restaurants, etc. have free Wi-Fi you can use to access the internet. As the previous poster mentioned, many hotels have business centres where you can fax things as well.

If you take a photo of your receipt and upload (or download or whatever load it is called) directly into your laptop, you should be able to email the whole report to them using free Wi-Fi.

Hope that helps
Laptop and digital camera. Also, schedulers will provide a lot of slack when they know that you are on the road. Ask and negotiate.

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
I bought a digital scanner some time back that works on my USB ports of both my laptop, desktop and netbook. You can scan and send your reports. I think I paid aboyt 70 bucks at a CompUSA for the full page scanner. I've also done alot of office supply shops. You can duck in there and do it all without your equipment. Hope that helps!
