Marmani is right. I visit New York City whenever my schedule allows, and there's enough competition. But you should know, the pay is not really any better, and the reimbursement is generally so meager that at best you'll get a modest meal and one (only one permitted!!!) drink out of it.
The proper way to approach mystery-shopping is the same way you'd launch any business: start small, do good work, build your customer base and your reputation, and stick to it.
