questionable email???

I just received an email from :
smithbrad@gmx.com
He was requesting personal info about me as his company was looking for secret shoppers. I was alarmed that (1) there was no company name and (2) the pay as advertised was very high.
Anybody else heard of this reply address before I hit "delete"?

Have at the delete button! EVEN IF it is a legitimate company they need to let you know who they are. Further if you are a new to them shopper you would not be seeing 'very high' pay. Rather I just got an email from a legitimate company that sounded like it should be high paying because they are getting needy to get the job done. Hmmmm. Same old price I wouldn't bother to do it for last week or last month.

This has SCAM smell all over it...!

Thanks for your quick responses. I have been a secret shopper, off and on for 35 years, and I have been geting quite a few requests for joining a particular company.
When I cannot determine what the company is, I delete the request...mostly when the reply address or sent from address does not not come from an MSC.
TO: Flash, I always read your many comments and probably agree with you 99.99% of the time. Thanks for your reassurance of hitting that DELETE button.

I always figure an opportunity missed is a whole lot more profitable than a scam hit. :-)

I couldn't agree with you more.
I'm sure, if it were a legitimate request, I will get another request with better contact info.

Another thought, if it was from a legitimate company, why didn't it identify itself? I may been already sign up with it!
