Way to rub that in, and up to now I was really liking you, LOL!
My brother has lived in Boston for years and years. At Sox games I can always pick he and my nephew out because they are in Cardinal gear. Once a Cardinal fan, always a Cardinal fan.
Believe me, I realize the Sox won, they did beat the Cards in that series

Considering they were the Cubs of the AL it was only a matter of time, LOL! However, only one team has ever won more series than the Cards and it's those Damn Yankees!
Actually St. Louis is an old city and generally a cool town beyond the sports (since the Blues and the Rams never seem to be able to do diddly and basketball just never works here). A good variety of things to do in the city and a short drive in most directions takes you to some beautiful countryside where you can also find a slew of wineries. I don't know about that house-swapping thing, but I love being a tour guide around town
Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of your time and it really annoys the pig.
