I just spent the last few minutes reading about the CoRI payment problems and the fustration many of you are having because an expected payment has not arrived. Been there, Done that, many times.

It just made me think I should give credit to Mventix and they way they have handled payments this Christmas season. Like CoRI their payments are like clockwork, the 16th days of the month AFTER the shop has been completed. Never missed a payment, always right on schedule. Imagine my supprise when I checked my bank account and discovered payment for 5 shops done THIS month!!! It was like getting a treat, or an unexpected Christmas present. I think they deserve reconition.

Funny thing, Trendsource was somewhat grinch-like with me this month. A job done last month needed a follow up. Due to going back and forth over conflicting instructions it did not get approved until a couple of weeks ago and they extended the 3 week follow up period from the date of approval (12/5) instead of the shop date (11/19). Can anyone say WTH?

Goodwin & Assoc. is another grinch-like company. Of course, they still have not paid me for shops done in September. It would be fine if they paid in 90 days or less but they do not. On the 90th day, I become eligible to start chasing them for my money. I have to actually request the payment because they won't send it automatically. It's a holiday but I still sent the request.

I was hoping they'd have a heart since it's Christmas...but NO. Unfortunately, I have four outstanding shops with them. I'll be chasing my money until the Spring.

If you start at 60 days and give them reminders like "I thank you in advance for preparing my check so I will have itin 90 days as you promised. At 75 days "I know you will keep your promise and send my payment on (date) which is 90 days from when I shopped!" I bet they will still be late!

Well, you said September....I just got paid for August! Only 4 1/2 months it took them

On the other hand...

I have 5 bank shops for ATH completed in November and due for Payment this month (January) The site says they are to be paid 1/10/12

Yesterday I received the check dated 12/27/11! Happy New Year!

What a nice surprise

I just signed up with Mventix. I got to the intependant contractor information page and got nervous. They need all my bank information. This is my first secret shopper sign up. How do you verify or trust these are not scams to clean out your bank account?
