What are other hard mystery shopping companies to be accepted by?

I know about Coyle, but are there any others that are hard to get into?

It is difficult to tell if companies are 'hard' or whether they just have nothing in your area. I have registered with more than 200 companies and some have never gone beyond acknowledging that my registration was received (if they ever even did that). Chatting with others, it turns out that some really have nothing in my area. Just the other day I got an email for a job with a company I registered with in 2009 but never heard back from. I registered again and now that they have shops in my area I was approved in less than an hour.

There are some companies that I suspect approve or ignore registrants based on the writing sample or the length of time in the business but I couldn't say for sure.
Thanks for the info. I was just curious to see if there were any other companies that had a competive process like Coyle.
I am not aware of a competitive process for Coyle. I registered and got accepted. Unfortunately their shops are all too distant for me to 'get my feet wet' with them to be able to move on to other things since I'm not about to drive several hundred miles to do a restaurant shop.

There are some companies that have tests before acceptance as a shopper and seem to be irrelevant to the shopping process that shoppers love to hate.
Ardent is pretty intensive to get into, and their reports are intense as well.
You better love the food, as they have one client.

Live consciously....
I had the experience with Coyle where I applied two years ago and did not even get as far as filling in the application. They never contacted me to do that. Earlier this year I decided to try to apply again and the application just popped up on their website. I filled it out and was accepted immediately. I think it depends on how many shoppers they need in your area at the time you apply whether it is difficult or easy.
