OK for husband AND wife to both work for Bestmark?

I've done a lot of shopping for Bestmark, and a lot of the local ones are going to start to recognize me if I keep it up. My wife has started shopping the last few months, too, and we would love to both be able to pick up a lot of the local ones. I cant find anything in their rules that states spouses may not both work for the company but easily could have missed it.

My wife has applied but heard absolutely nothing from them, I've never heard of anyone else having trouble being hired. Anyone have any info on this?

My husband and I both shop for a number of the same companies, there doesn't seem to be a problem with it.

some companies have ethics policies that restrict hiring of family members and what not... if it is company policy i am not sure if it would make it into your hiring contract between them and you specifically...

if you share the same last name and same address they might be suspicious that you are trying to double up on shops... the big box stores have multipul shops per week... and it doesnt take much to put on a womans disguise... as it is such a simple scheme... (specially with the shops that use paypal or dd) and the economy sucks i am sure people have done it and are doing it... the only problem would be a ss number, but as identity theft is getting more prevelant and im not sure what ms companys check with an ss number... most allow immediate sign up... i forget how fast bestmark is...

what you could do to eliminate this in the future is to get a relatives/friends address and have her checks sent there as well as a different phone number than yours... (home address and all)... this will eliminate suspicion/ethics rigamarole... for a short time i had my mom doing merchandising and thats what i did...shes a bit "eccentric", tends to say off the wall things, and as such i did not want her to reflect poorly on me... and well it was good i did as she botched shop after shop... after her third cancellation at CFA they canned her...

if they need your wife i am sure they will get your wife in the game... if not then well... im sure she will find something...

you can always call or email them... least they can do is say no...

Bestmark flat out told me ( I have the email from Sarah Jane Hinz) that because we share an address, my husband and I are considered "one shopper" and he cannot do a shop I have just done in the time frame allowed by the MSC- like I have just done it, and can't do it again for 60 days, so neither can he.

It is fine, my husband an I both worked there and had same address. But they deactivated me because my husband had problems(he is a very blunt person). So there is always that risk.
My bf and I both work for Bestmark. There have been no problems. My bf is a new shopper as I have been mystery shopping since 2003. We do the shops but don't go with each other or talk to each other about the shops. We live together and there is no problem with it. I work for over 85 companies where he only works for about 10 companies.
When I was accepted with BestMark, they were a company that accepted shoppers based on need, not application. As long as you don't go together all the time, especially on restaurant shops, then it shouldn't be a problem. If you do, however, even if you're not doing the report, you're still there and clients can put two and two together, which isn't good for you or the MSP.
If you have seperate e-mail adresses and seperate registrations, I cannot imagine that anyone would have an issue with this. Schedulers are always looking for dependable shoppers. But I have no experience with this.
