Intelligent Proof

Some shops for this company from a known scheduler just came up, anyone have any experience with them?

Kern Scheduling just dropped a lot of shops for this company, but I cannot seem to find anything on Google that lists this company. The only threads that I can find lead me back to this forum.
I applied for some shops for them through KSS, and received this link to fill out a shopper profile: [intelligentproof.shopmetrics.com]

If any of the shops are assigned to me, I'll let you know about my experience.
Do they only use Kern to schedule shops or just for a certain client? I love the Shopmetrics system but I will not work for Kern. Just curious if it's worth even signing up. Thanks!
I have never heard of them either but looked up the shops...none in my state but tons near my condo. Wish I was going to be there sooner rather than later in the month. They look like simple shops and would be a great way to make some extra cash.

I did a google of the company and saw that it was founded in 2007 and has a number of employees as 1.

They seem to be akin to QAMS, they have no available shops on their board. No way of knowing if it's only Kern doing the scheduling for them.

Thanks. I took a peek to be nosy. They didn't have any in my area but QAMS had one for less than $15 with fee and reimbursement. So it's not a major loss. Good to know about QAMS but too bad, as well.
Qams will have shops on their boards. I get notices every day or so from them. And I can go in and look for different areas too. I think you might have to have actually shopped for them though before you can access the board...maybe not though. I have worked for them since their original website which was totally different.

Sorry let me clarify, no shops near me :-) I've never done a shop for them directly, the ones I've done were always scheduled through Kerr.
They (Qams) have many more shops than just the Kern ones so keep that in mind.

That's great to know. I never did apply with QAMS years ago and now I wasn't sure if I should bother, but now I will. smiling smiley
I had not registered with Qams due to low pay, but have been doing their certain "fun" shops recently, and enjoy them, plus get many things I need as cards, candy, wrapping and such. They pay quickly, I'm glad I found them, the nicest of companies to work with.

Live consciously....
The ones Qams schedules on their own pay slightly better (not a whole lot generally speaking but I did just get an email for one that pays a lot more).

Great the scheduler finally is able to get this shops going but all of the ones that were applied for were cancelled and had to be re-requested. I get an email at 10pm tonight while I'm out with family about they are assigning these tonight and to reapply right away. Well I get home and everything I had applied for originally is gone. All this waiting for them to get their act together and now nothing.
Same here, ahmaynard. I'm pretty irritated by the whole situation. It's not that I'm owed shops. But I took the time to sign up with Intelligent Proof, read the shop instructions and pass the test. There were plenty of shops to go around; there were 30-40 or more in my area, and I applied for 6 or 8. If Kern gave a handful of shoppers all of the shops, then that's pretty lousy of them.

But perhaps the shops in our areas have not been moved over yet. I'll wait for certainty before I start cursing.
And I gotta say this. Every time I see "Intelligent Proof," it strikes me as "waterproof" or "fireproof." So far, so apt...
Yep pretty much the same thing here. I've never done anything for Intelligent Proof before so I'm not sure how their approvals work. I just know that when I originally applied for shops, there were also 30-40 in the areas I cover. 2 hours after the email that was sent out, all but 2 are left and they aren't worth the drive just for the 2. I could have made a decent route out of some of them. Too bad I wasn't sitting at home on a Friday night at 10pm keeping an eye out on my email.

The only reason I finally read this thread (I've seen it a few times) is for a similar reason: every time I read "Intelligent Proof," I think of something quite opposite to what the Company likely intended ... more like a company run by a bunch of idiots! LOL

(I mean no ill will toward the Company -- I have no experience with them.)

I'm in the same boat! Didn't get any of the shops I wanted, and I applied for 3. Now they are all gone in my area as well.
I received a load of the shops. Did some today and they are quite simple although the app they ask you to upload data is a bit quirky.

Can you elaborate on the app? I have 10 of these shops tomorrow. I applied for every one of them within 10 miles (50, easily, thank goodness I didn't get them all!!) after hearing so many people in this forum were unsuccessful in their requests.

Every single review for the app for the iPhone complained it is buggy and loses data. Did you encounter that? I don't think I can handle 10 of these shops in one day if I can't rely on the app.

Thanks!

I lost data a couple times on my iPhone. On the plus side these shops are very easy since most of what they ask for is not there so most of my answers were 0 or None.

Here is what I learned and will do tomorrow for round 2:
- i can not figure a way to upload a receipt from the iPhone.
- Sync after every shop. Then submit after every shop.
- If you made a mistake and do not get the submit button all the yes/no button questions will be lost locally but saved on the web site. Not a big deal except when you sync the next shop they are lost on the server for the original shop. I was walking between shops and stopped halfway at a coffee shop to fix these on the website.

- At this point you can email the receipts. I found NO way to upload them on the iPhone even via Safari.

One last hint: The comment fields ONLY wants a number. Do not add an actual comment.

Good Luck

Thanks. This is all useful information!

Hey vptrav - I can't get the app to work *at all.* I did manage to list my login credentials, but my shop log won't sync with the app. I tried a dozen times today, on both 3G and wifi connections. I got permission to do the reports on the computer instead of the app, but it's still frustrating.

Did you encounter this problem? What login address did you use? Maybe I'm using the wrong log in page?

I'm doing another route of these tomorrow, and I really wish the app would cooperate. It would make my life easier, for sure!

Thanks.

Ignore the suggestion to use https in front as I never got that to work.

Go to profile and use [intelligentproof.shopmetrics.com]

Do not use the secure sever (https) even though it asks that you do as I could never get it to work.

Also verify your username and password are correct. Your user id is not your email address as in many MSCs.

I have over 5 more to do today. I am so glad I split them into 2 days as I think day 2 will be much easier. I have to admit sometimes I think this shop is actually about testing the software as opposed to the shop itself!!!
I finally managed to get the app to work, but I found it easier and less painful to just use the full site on my phone.

The shops themselves are great. In and out in 5 minutes, with some candy to munch on later.
