BARE will be the death ofme.

I just did 2 post office jobs for them. I got a 10/10 on my first one. I like them a lot. I just did 3 today for Trend Source and OMG...so time consuming with the report!
I wish they would have more in my area. Good luck to you!

no, haven't seen them here. sometimes Bare shops are very easy. And sometimes....sometimes they are a real PITA.
I did an on-site college visit for them. It made me miss being in school. Mine wasn't a difficult report.
I avoid the A scenario because the box purchase is frequently not reimbursed in full if at all.The B scenario, except when sent to me, risks shipping charges only partially reimbursed. Too often I've laid out over ten dollars only to get slightly more than $8 back. Although BARE pays fairly quickly, I'm not crazy about waiting even one month for reimbursement and losing $1-$2 total each time.

From other postings, I've learned to mail myself items that I already own, cat food, soup cans etc to save money and to try to be only slightly over 18 oz., the minimum required weight.
PS. Thanks for the heads up......I'll be sure to double check my receipts in the future.
I agree, BARE should be asking why would anyone drive 75 miles, 150 round trip at a cost of $15 in gas money to request mail hold and earn $10 for a total loss of how much? Would save everybody, (themselves included) a lot of agida

I go to Walmart and get a small box and a couple of cans of fruits or veges. Head to the produce aisle and find the combination that edges just over the 20 oz. mark (18 is the minimum but based on the wildly varying weights of the exact same items at different locations I need some cushion). Then I send the items to a Second Harvest the next major city over. The result is a minimal, fully reimbursed shipping charge, a minimal, fully reimbursed box charge (only needs to be big enough to ship a can) and a tax deductible charitable contribution for someone who's hungry.

It's not surprising they only pay $50. I've done a few of these for $80 to $120, naturally for other companies. $50 is low for the time involved both onsite and writing a quality report.
