Update Your Profiles!
We may soon be working with a large national banking chain for a very important project. For this project, shoppers must have access to an account at this particular banking chain in order to participate. Because our recruitment process will be selective based on this qualification, we ask that you please take a moment to make sure your GfK Shopper Profile is completely updated with your most current banking information. No account information needs to be provided. We only need to know the bank name where you hold an account. This information will be kept confidential and will only be used to offer these new shops to you.

Have already received the banking chain emails, but you must be a member of that bank. Strangely, they're not on the GFK board.
The sandwich is now back again but this time no fee paid, just reimbursed. :<
It's not a revealed shop like before.
received email indicating $6 reimburse and $6 fee........if you did reveal at location you cannot do the shop, though.

{EASY lunch (11am-3pm) / dinner (3pm-7pm)
For this shop you will be paid $6 plus up to $6 reimbursement}

Still none in NY. That's the only fast food I eat, and even reimbursement would be good. There are about 10 of them near me, and I've shopped only 2.

That's right. It's $6 fee with $6 reimbursement said in the email. Sorry for the info yesterday, it didn't say the fee paid in the website.
Another email from GFK: They will be again conducting shops at the sandwich shops starting in March. That's only 9 months away!
I declined one that was in the downtown business area. To park on the street, you have to put money in a parking meter or my husband would have to drive around the block a few times. It showed a $6.00 fee on my assignments available page. I felt that wasn't enough for me to take the shop.

But I love the gas shops. I'll make a bundle of shops to do for a couple of days. For the past month, they had to be shopped on a Sunday and a Monday. A new scheduler sent me an email and when I accepted them the quiz showed up. She told me the quiz had to be retaken for each new wave. I've been doing them since February and this is the first time I've had to take the quiz again.
Yeah, I had to redo the quiz too. What a pain. It's not like anything changed on it. I have a binder with all the various quizzes for different MSPs. Most of them rarely change, so I always have them handy.

Joan,

Was that because of a new scheduler? I didn't keep a copy of the answers. She was kind enough to help me out.
I don't know for sure. I've always self scheduled and these latest shops were assigned through the scheduler, so it might be.

I just keep an answer sheet for the quiz in my notebook. They don't change but I never remember which of those questions down the list I perpetually get wrong because I read the question differently than they do. So when I think I remembered it correctly and don't pass I usually waste time trying to change a different answer that can be interpreted two ways. Enough of that nonsense, I just use my answer list.
Oops, I've saved only 2 of my tests. If I have to redo the GFK, I know who my friends are.

GFK is the company whose client makes hero sandwiches for $5. It's the only fast food some of us more discriminating diners eat. The sandwich is named after an underground railroad system, and the stores are ubiquitous.
Sorry, I don't remember what's on that one. I only have a copy of the gas client quiz sad smiley

On GfK's tests, don't you have to answer the question on the current page in order to access the next page?

Joan

Bugspost, I will do that this evening. I dont know what is going on with it but it seems like I must be missing the same ones.

Yeah, but you can copy each page w/your answers.........and then not submit the test..........that is what one shopper did..........I don't know if they have that only 3 tries or if you can try as many times as you like. I know the shopper sent me the entire test w/their answers..........when I looked it over......they were missing two........because it was more than one answer........

Ooooh. I thought that when you went to the next page it verified your answer and, if it was wrong, you couldn't proceed til it was right. What a dodo I am

I have shopped for this company for over four years. They are dependable and if you have a good rapport with schedulers, you can be notified by e-mail about bonus shops before there is an area wide e-mail sent out.

Yes, these are exactly the same as I did for another international MSC and they are SOOOO easy! I love these too! Unfortunately they don't have many here. The other company had tons of them. I have two scheduled for tomorrow evening, and
I had to take the quiz again, too. I just did one of these in May...That's a little bit of a pain, but I love these so much (forms easy, shop quick and easy, pay decent for little work...) that it made it worthwhile...

Maritz Research does gas shops occasionally. A lot of paperwork though. You do the online report then have to send in a printed one.

I turned these down every time they called and asked me. They are revealed here and MUCH more work than the ones I agree to do. I don't want any part of those revealed ones. Maybe its just me, but being the mom of a young child, I want to stay his mom for a while longer. These shops sound awful from what I have heard.
