GfK

I just found jobs near me for GfK. They are gas shops that pay $12, which includes reimbursements for $5 gas and another purchase at the store. Is that the norm? I thought I'd gag when I found out how long SNC's $12 gas shops took but at least it's $12 plus reimbursement. I'm new so I have very little to go on; what's the average pay on these kind of things?

AGREED..........a very easy shop......time on site minimal...no photos...little to no narrative...time inputting report....minimal. Flat fee covers gas and purchase in store. I have done these for almost 4 years.........love them and grab them whenever I can.

I agree. The are great to work with. In a good month, I can offset my entire
gas bill with their shops. I did six last Saturday and it brought my gas tank
from almost empty to full plus some in my lawnmover gas can. The onl problem
is they do not tell you whether it is *** or **** so you have to pay
close attention to addresses so you do not shop a **** when you are supposed
to be at the **** a block up the street.

I keep getting offers for sandwich shops, but when I request, they never give me any. I think I'm giving up on this company.

You mean the hero sandwich shops? They go like crazy. you have to get them from the board before the emails go out.

I was chatting with a scheduler the other day who commented that she has shoppers begging for the sandwich shops to help keep their families fed.

The sub shops are listed, I'll apply. I don't hear anything, check back a week or two later and the same shops are listed, this time they're overdue (the due date never changed).

??? I think that stuff is instant self assign. Then you need to do the quiz within 24 hours. Next time you "Accept", make sure you select a date and then check your "Visits accepted" to go do the quiz. I think that is how it has always worked for me because I don't remember ever having to wait to hear if I got the job.

They kicked the end of May stuff around me out to the first week of June so haven't posted other stuff to compete with that.

There's no more May stuff here. Maybe client changed MSP's?

Is GFK only overseas? I was so excited when I read the posts but I think I live an ocean away!

I am trying to get my user name and password from GFK, I have sent them several emails with no response and it wont let me reregister because my email address is already in their system. Anyone have any suggestions?

I think those sandwich shops were a short lived mystery shop contract with GFK. I know some companies only do mystery shops when they have a particular campaign going on. Just like Quest for Best did the tortilla wrap shops a few months ago.
I didn't do any.............I usually only do gas shops w/ them and CC signage checks.

I think so, with the certificates. I catch them again. I've become a fan of those sandwiches, buy them for lunch sometimes.

Amanda--GFK's not good on email, because I once tried and they answered me weeks later. Use the phone, then get Roboform.

I did their sandwich the end of April. They only opened for 2 weeks and then gone. No more. Only the gas shops throughout the year.

I agreed that they don't answer email at all but they paid very quick. Got them within 2 weeks after the shops were done.

I have a wonderful, wonderful GFK scheduler in Donna Goodwin. When I have questions or am willing to volunteer for an out of the way job (at a price) she always responds fairly promptly, even if it is "I rarely have trouble getting that one filled at regular price, but I'll keep you in mind if I do."

Just got a notice that GFK will start doing a banking chain soon.
