MSC's that are no longer...

I am missing a few of my favorite MSC's that are no longer or have fallen to a low, or have merged, so there is basically no work in my area, such as:

1. Tell us about us (three of my favorite restaurants gone).
2. Annonomous Insights
3 JC&Assoc.
4. Retail Eyes
5. Service Intelligence

Annonomous Insights are stll in operation ,but all they have are haircuts inn the Columbus,OH area.
SI has nothing in my area except the colleges. They lost that great tex mex (Baja Fresh), since they no longer have it, I guess I can mention it. I did it monthly for years. I haven't worked for them all year due to no jobs here, since the move from Canada....seems like some are still going strong in other areas, but, I'm speaking of my experiences.

Baird and grass roots come to mind...

Good customer service as well as good management is at a premium.. Even in a recession

Perhaps its less about the company and more about their portfolio... sigh

Not the way they were when I first started and they had fabulous restaurants (Steve will vouch for that). They lost them all, and what's remaining here is a yogart shop not in my area. Maybe CA is taking a larger hit than other states due to our lousey economy.

I'm in So Cal too Irene. I used to do some regular nice restaurants for Retail Eyes a few years back. After 2 of the restaurants in my area closed, it seems that they didn't have much left going. I haven't do anything for them since unfortunately.

The point of my thread was to find out what jobs were lost in different, areas, I know what happened in CA....everyone seems to tell me jobs lost here are still going strong in their areas, that doesn't do much for me, as I was curious to see who else lost their favorites, can't be just CA.

Retail Eyes lost an entire restaurant industry (and paid a handsome report fee), to now have a yogart shop, does that equal they're still around...smiling smiley

I haven't noticed so much a loss of clients (or at least any that matter to me) but more moves which result in my refusing to do the jobs for much lower pay.

I still miss the days when CoRI had those infamous pizza shops. I regularly picked them up for anywhere from $15 to $35 bucks. They are still in my area, but the MSC seems to be able to get them done for $5. No thank you. Service Evaluation Concepts lost a Medicare Advantage provider. They used to start at $30, but would quickly bonus to $50. That was good for hundreds of extra dollars in November and December with very little time and virtually no travel involved.

Now that Lowe's is closing so many stores and laying off a lot of employees their shopping jobs may go the way of the dinosaurs.

I WAS CONCERNED ABOUT BEYOND HELLO BUT I GUESS THEY JUST HAVE SEASONAL SHOPS AROUND HERE.
It seems that all that is gaining here is resteraunts in the last 10 years s
Erie has gained 100+ resteraunts its becoming rediculous ... that is not an exaggeration.. in the last 6 months 3 in two square miles: famous Dave's opened... firebirds opened... we got our second 5guys...
Cheddars just got a permit for the same area...

I'm waiting for the first two listed to get shops...yeah!

Quality Assessment seems to have dried up in my area. I had two fuel shops that I did every month and now they are gone. Zero shops show up for anywhere.
