I really like working with Harland Clarke. But that is unlikely to help someone who is just starting shopping because they seem to want shoppers who have shopped for a while and are likely to stay in the business.

As for companies that are newbie friendly, I do like working with Market Force Blue Portal.
Corporate Research International. If you sign up with them, don't be discouraged at seeing only $3 and $4 shops. They steadily increase fees the closer they get to the due date. I've grabbed several jobs for $25-30 that started at $4.

Aside from that, their surveys are relatively easy, their schedulers are flexible and the weekly pay schedule is possibly the fastest out there.
I like QAMS, BARE, and FEEDBACK PLUS. There are others but these are my favorites. So far no pay issues with them.
I am a vet too. I like EPMS partly because there is no money out of pocket. The same for Research Services two part auto shops. Both pay well and always pay fairly and according to schedule.
I have been shopping for Best Mark and MarketForce for years. They have always been easy to work with and pay quickly. I don't like having to make a purchase however, to prove my proof of visit. Best Mark pays $10.00 for a Best Buy shop and just starting adding another $1.50 to the job to cover the item we buy at Best Buy. What can you buy for $1.50?
A bottle of water and you may want to edit your post since it's a violation to have the name of the MSC tied to the client.

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of your time and it really annoys the pig.
