I know of Palm Scheduling, so that is not an issue. Independent schedulers often send out emails not terribly dissimilar to this. And at $8, this is not some 'get rich quick' scam. It is also not unusual for independent schedulers to be using a gmail or yahoo or other web based free email account. Now if they were offering $80 for the visit I would be concerned :-)

I've done these. Very simple shops and I was paid although not rapidly (seems like it was 60-90 days) by paypal. I was signed with Palm so as to how they acquired your email, I can't say.

I have done shops for Palm. They are legit and as stated above they pay slow.

There is a reason they have to bonus shops. No one will do one for $8 after doing one. I get $15=18 for vision shops. They are detailed and time consuming/ I did one and then accepted another ONLY because I had shops in the mall. When I respectfully asked to re-schedule I got a Screaming capitalized message telling me to never contact them again. As if. That was from the owner Cheryl Durbin. Who does this??

Wow, the owner went postal on you? That's not good.

I have completed similar shops in the past year or two. .. Usually posing as a prospective customer to buy glasses. In and out in about 10 minutes plus a short report, so this pay rate sounds about right.
I have shopped for Cheryl in the past. Did you read the instructions? Did it say "no re- schedules" or she had a deadline to meet? Often, a small bonus is offered if the shop could be done quickly.
