On a weekend afternoon, I had watched a showing of Knives Out (even though it was released much earlier) after a late lunch with a friend. I enjoyed the movie. It was a lovely day. I still remember that day because the theaters and shopping area weren't as busy.

As a young adult, the most good looking guy on my TV was Ian Hanomansing. He was on the CBC News in BC. 40 years later he still looks amazing.

He really is awesome and sexy. He doesn't do much acting with his shirt off.. But about 30 years ago (the clock in my head is broken, it could have been anytime in his career before Jurassic Park) he did a weird campy scifi movie, and he did more than one scene shirtless. True story: When INXS was on tour after their first album came out their gigs were mostly at mid-sized bars. I found out they were playing at a bar not far from home and got my bestie to go, even though she hadn’t heard of them. (Not a college radio listener)
I thought there would be a crowd outside the small box office in front so we got there early to buy tickets. When we got there, there wasn’t a soul around, not even at the box office. So we stood outside totally bored. Then a door near the front doors opened out and the band walked out together with MH trailing a bit behind. He saw us as he started to pass and asked if we were going to the show. I was looking like I just won the lottery and my friend froze at the sight of him. When I said yes, it was followed by a loud squeal. We looked down the sidewalk and saw a group of girls charging our way with albums and pens in hand. They ended up swarming him until he broke free and took off. My friend was more upset than I was about it. We wanted to strangle those dumb girls.

Bare, I could easily add Robert Plant to my list. Me and my friend Shari call him the Golden God of Rock n Roll.
