Just Curious. Has anyone ever won...

I keep receiving polls to answer questions for gift cards, do this and get your name in a drawing, etc. Has anyone on here ever won any of these things? I have been doing them for many, many years and never won anything. I'm starting to rethink things.

I did win $25 once. To enter, one had to provide a shopper "tip". If they used your tip you got $25. Or maybe it was just a draw.
I don't remember the company but I remember my tip.
Always throw trash in the garbage at the gas pumps so you remember if the trash was full!
Silly, but I have a hard time remembering to check the trash

I concluded that the MSC's were getting their own "Mystery Shop" done with the data they would have received from the participants, for free. So, a slim chance for the gift card did not interest me. I would like to know how much the MSC got for their survey. Or, how that data was used to sell their worth to companies they wanted to have as potential clients or proposed programs with current clients.

Excellent point. I stopped doing the surveys because I don't think anyone ever wins.

Many years ago, I won a $5 or $10 Amazon gift card from marketforce (might have still been called shop n check back then).

I've never entered. I won't be fooled that way.

As a little kid, I entered an essay contest for Hershey Bars....mine was chosen as one of the winners and Hershey shipped a big box of candy to our household every month for a year lol.
My family loved me for that one lol.

I delete them immediately.

OMgosh! I forgot they were called Shop N Check! That was a long time ago!

Sometime, I plan on re-watching some movies with Tom Hanks. I forgot about precious some of these movies made me feel.

i used up all my luck in 2013 when i won 2 ipads. i sold them both for $400 each when they were $500 new. i dont work for lotto tickets. i stopped doing that in 2010. the raffles were offered on top of points that i would regularly redeem for free movie tickets. there were many surveys i didnt take because the points or time were not acceptable. the site is no longer around the good sites do not last either they just lose their funding or they get scammed into oblivion. if you are looking for paid surveys protege companies have been around since 2009: swagbucks, inboxdollars, mypoints, for usa and ysence if you are international. those also have referral rewards so its really good to get your friends and family to sign up. i have made $200 off an ex girlfriend that I broke up with in 2015 forthright, pinecone (you have to commit to filling them all out 1-3 surveys a week at $3 each about 20min and annoyingly repetitive but they regularly do small easy in home product tests like frozen pizza and new candy bars), and erewards. facebook viewpoints and google rewards are good.
