The first woman to run a winning presidential campaign was for Trump. Trump appointed the first ever female White House Chief of Staff. That doesn't seem like someone who thinks woman "belong in the kitchen." Hardly anyone is saying the stuff you are suggesting they say. People are against illegal immigration, not immigration. Most sane people are against illegal immigration. Most of the country is. Democrats were as well, until they realized they needed the votes. Many videos out there for Hillary, Obama, Bill Clinton, etc. saying illegal immigration is bad. No one says that only criminals are coming over the border. But some definitely are. Housing shortage? There are definitely companies buying houses and it is not good. That is true.

You're believing just as many lies as any Trump supporter, if not more. All politicians lie a lot. It's just that Democrats seem to naively believe that theirs do not because the media protects them.

Trump is helping the middle class, and they are gravitating to him. The Democrats continue to lose working class voters. It's well documented. And Trump's tax cuts did help the middle class. IRS data shows it. And Biden kept the tax cuts. The inflation that took place under the Biden administration is a big reason why Kamala Harris lost. It had a huge effect on the middle class. The idea that Trump only helped the rich simply isn't true, but it is a media talking point.

The idea that it is wrong to vote for Trump because he is a "bad person" is a curious one. It presumes that the other candidate is a "good person." None of them are good people. A lot of people looked for authenticity in this election. That is why there were people that voted for Trump but didn't vote for other Republicans.

I'll always confront hubris and sanctimony, especially when it is riddled with falsehood. Also, I hope you don't write like that on your shops. It's hard to look at.

The 1950s didn't have the problems we have today. Doesn't mean the 1950s were perfect.
Women do have a role to play, including "in the kitchen." It is fine if you don't believe that, but the attack on the family and God's design for family structure is the biggest reason why we have the issues we have today.
Of course everyone who is not a Native American is an immigrant. However, people should come here LEGALLY. How many illegal immigrants have you opened your home to? People like you like to complain that borders should be wide open, yet you are the first to call the police when someone that does not look like you walks through your neighborhood. I spent most of my adult life in the Democratic Party. I can assure you it is full of racists white people. While we are at it racism is a heart issue, and because of that fact, it cuts both ways. As a white man, I have experienced racism. I have also experienced working with a black co-worker who was way smarter than me, but because he knew the company we worked for would not fire him because of the color of his skin, he didn't give a crap about his job. He routinely called out, he didn't put in even 25% of work during the work day, and he would show up oftentimes late at a job that required at least 2-hours of prep-work before the main part of the job started. The man's grandmother "died" no less than 50 times in nearly 10 years of working with him. Not to mention he put out information to the public that endangered the lives of the citizens we protected. The company's protection of him because of the color of his skin was wrong. They've not learned their lesson as they continue to cater to people. They are currently being sued in federal court over it.
I'm not rich, but I got a tax break. You clearly do not understand how taxes work. When the standard deduction is increased, you are getting a tax break. This is on top of other tax breaks that were given to people like me who run small businesses. If you run a mystery shopping business, you too, did get a tax break. If you didn't, you need to go find an accountant who knows tax law and the changes that were made.

What would have hurt me was for the government to step in and either directly give first time home buyers either $25k to buy a house or a $25k tax break. Of course, they were too incompetent to explain which they were going to do. Were they going to cut checks like Covid? Geeze, get ready for more inflation. Were they going to allow one to deduct $25k off their income? Or, were they going to give someone a $25k credit on their taxes? No matter which way they did it, the excessive home prices we have today would only get higher, forcing people like me, who would not be eligible as a first time home buyer, unable to get any assistance. Instead, I would be forced into paying an even higher price.

Women never had a right to choose at the federal level. There is no such thing in the U.S. Constitution that gave women such a right, hence why Roe v. Wade was overturned. Even Ruth Bader Ginsburg stated it was a bad ruling, which is why she wished Congress would act. Of course, Democrats had many, many years to act - and they choose not to do so.

Get off your ego. I'm the only one around here allowed to have an ego because I've earned it over the years.

Go each your Cheerios. You'll feel better. Either way, I am going to enjoy what will likely be an 8-12 year run of strong conservatism.

I want tax breaks for gig workers. Next year it is expected that nearly half of the American workforce will be engaged in some type of gig work. Many of us do it as a second job. Maybe we don't have the opportunity for overtime at our main job, so we rely on in gig work or mystery shopping to make up for that. We deserve to get in on those tax breaks for overtime workers. Maybe it is the first $15,000 in income. Maybe more. I don't know. It is a conversation that needs to be had, even if you do not like the incoming administration. Rather than pout like a 2-year-old, get up and put your big boy or big girl pants on, and fight for something that you should agree with me on.
