America's Got Talent

Does anyone else find it strange there are a Brit, a Canadian, a German, and a Columbian as judges on AGT?

Or that probably 80-90% of the acts aren't from the US?

Entertaining yes, but also misleading.

The "Got Talent" franchise began in the UK. Simon Cowell expanded it to the US. There are now "clones" in many countries, but the US version pays the most to the winner.

Back in the day, when the highest tax bracket was 90%, this country led the world in every metric that mattered.
