So, I got off the gondola and stepped into my skis. Nope. The bindings were about 3 cm bigger than my boots! Closer look, not my skis!!!
Did I bring Hubby's old skis? He doesn't think so. Did I grab the wrong skis off the rack before getting on the gondola? They were right beside Hubby's. Did someone grab mine?
Did I mix them up last May and have the wrong ones stored away since?
Some light will be shed on it when I get home.
Today, three staff listened to my story, phoned all over to find if someone was looking for missing skis. One remembered a skier who was left with the wrong skis last year, but no details on the skis.
They were patient and helpful as we tried to puzzle this out. There are patient helpful people.
They took the skis to hold onto in case someone came looking. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Teaching kids to count is fine, but teaching kids what counts is best.
