Still waiting for the 100% chance of rain deluge to start

Well, this world class rain storm has not yet appeared. It rained a little last night. Maybe other areas are gettng drenched but not here, not yet. Alexa told me we will get a half inch. Not what I call a record breaking amount.

Is that the first or the second atmospheric river? My friends in Sandy Eggo are having some issues with flooding. But one is retired and the other can walk to work. They can see the flooding and my retired friend has a drainage problem in her back yard because of stupid contractors. But she is otherwise unaffected.
I am in the SF Bay Area and am looking forward to more rainy days because they'll be nothing compared to San Diego. Sure hope it gets much better soon down there.
Funny I thought I sent that original post while I was still in my Inbox to an individual member. Good thing I did not say anything I would not want to send out to the world But that explains this post that ended up somehow on the company discussion forum. It is raining now in Los Angeles but not very hard yet.
Yes, light rain started again about 20 minutes ago. I went as early as possible for the two jobs I did today! Not sure how tomorrow will play out. My pickup is a competitor with a longer window than for Kroger.
Been raining hard steadily. I have a shop I thought about doing tonight but with about 4 inches of water over by my curb I really dont want to drive over there. Its raining to hard for the water to soak into the ground. and the drain on my corner is full of leaves so I will need to go out once the darkness is gone and rake those all away as they are blocking the drainage. Thinking about doing that job tomorrow evening but it is still supposed to be raining all day. This is a deluge, not a normal rain.
