05/17: Idaho Day!

Idaho has spuds and the backside of the Tetons. Who could ask for anything more?!

How about a little known song, all about Idaho, sung by Frankie Valli & the 4 Seasons!! I never have been sure if this is a tribute or tongue-in-cheek!! But anyhow, click on this Youtube link to hear it....you may have to "Skip Ads" after 5 seconds to get to the song....all about Idaho!!....it's really something!

I can think of a lot of things. Like for one higher wages. The high cost of living in Idaho is ridiculous.
What's the appeal of Iowa? I've never been there. The one time that I thought about it, was icy cold temperatures.

While I am not clamoring to go to either one, I think Idaho is nicer than Iowa.
This kind of links Idaho and Iowa.

Anyone familiar with Heywood Banks. He has a song called the Ohioiowaidahohawaii Highway:

In the many years since I visited just a bit of Idaho, some changes have occurred there.

I hope that the wild places I saw are still wild and beautiful. That should never change!

I know that Victor has been developed more and that a college in Rexburg has graduated to four-year degree status. I think it is a branch of BYU? ? ?

In a perfect world, I will be able to explore more of Idaho as it is now. Hoping... smiling smiley
