Hubby had a tooth extracted yesterday. This morning I found some drooly blood stains on the pillowcase of our new, pricy sheets. Hydrogen peroxide didn't help. What is the best thing to use (bonus points if it's something already in the house).

Did you soak in cold water for at least 15 minutes before trying the hydrogen peroxide?
Alternately, cold water running thru the fabric, use bar soap and soft tooth brush, then blot and use the hydrogen peroxide.
Back in my former life, when I worked as an RN and got blood on my white uniforms, I seem to recall soaking them in milk for a while...something about milk enzymes breaking down the blood. Wish I could remember more, but that's going back 40 years ago!! But here's an interesting website with a similar tip as well as others....good luck!!

Biokleen enzyme cleaner might work. Its available at Whole Foods, in major supermarkets, and on Amazon.
If the sheets are white (only if white!) you could try a powdered oxygen bleach like Out White Brite laundry whitener. Use a bit of water in a stainless steel spoon to make a paste just big enough for the stain, and brush it on carefully. Let it sit for about 15 to 20 minutes, then rinse.
I have been using Era laundry detergent specifically for blood stains for years. Rub a little into the stain and wash. It even works on days old stains.
I ran hotels for years, and we had this just about daily. I am not sure if this product is in your area or not, but you can go to Dollar General and I think Dollar Tree and pick up a bottle of a cleaner called Awesome. It's yellow. Put that on the stain generously and let it soak for a while and the blood just disappears. Just do not dry the pillow case at all until you get the stain out. Once dried, it sets the stain in.
Best thing: A wet washrag. Press it on the stain, as long as the stain is wet, it pulls it right out.

Get a bar of laundry soap and rub it directly on the stain, the whole sheet has to be wet by the way. Get a plastic bag and put the sheet into it, tie it up, and leave it for 3 days. Wash as normal after
