Rain today and rained a little yesterday. We still have snow here and there. Lake is too cold to kayak on.

June was rainy and chilly. July is much better. It's been in 80's and lots more sun.... plants are growing like crazy. I love this summer the best so far.

Hazy, hot humid and horrible. Good chance of violent thunderstorms just about every evening for the next week.

I understand there will be lovely weather in the San Francisco Bay Area while I’m there for the next five days. However, the California Central Valley, which is the second portion of my trip is forecast to be high 90s/low 100s. However, I’ve been told that the lack of humidity makes more bearable.

In OK, it has been in the 100s (for Canadians and the rest of the world that is in the high 30s or low 40s) for about a week, and it will be for the next week or so. I do not want to see my Electric bill for this month. Yesterday it was 108 or 43.3 degrees

In this moment, it is sixty degrees and sunny. Perfect! Later, it will be warmer.

Nice day today. We had t-storms and lightning blew out a transformer. The storm woke me up 5:36 a.m. It was humid and 83 ....

Last evening at about 5:30 the sky turned, literally, as dark as night and about 2 inches of rain fell in the first hour of a long, heavy storm that swept through a huge area of VA, DC and MD for the next several hours. Emergency warnings of flash flooding on radio every few minutes for over and hour meant I could mentally track how fast the epicenter of the storm was traversing the area. This ended a prolonged and very dangerous heat wave in the region. The air is clear and it is safe for folks like me to venture outdoors. Whew!

We do not have nice weather. Predictable? Yes. It's freezing in the winter and hot and humid in the summer. We no longer have a Spring or Fall. OK, maybe a week for each. So sticky out for what seems to be forever. Have to commute on Thursday, :-(.

Last evening was the bomb. We went for an evening drive into nature where it was cool, still, and a good time to observe critters.
