No I don't want cable cuz I have Roku. I can watch tv on my tv or laptop. I have the bundle...tv app, internet and phone. $47
First, if you have a "smart" TV, you do not have to pay for having a cable box. The TV will use the App instead of the box. It saves you the $7.99 box fee or whatever it is. I was told all Samsung TVs and TVs with Roku or a separate Roku device will work.
Second, Spectrum has three packages for TV they don't tell you about. They are all streaming packages. One you get the local channels and get to pick 10 channels from a list. It's called Spectrum TV Choice. It's $25.16 in my area.
Spectrum Lifestyle Plan is local channels and a list of set channels. It's also around the $25 level.
Spectrum TV Essentials doesn't include the local channels and you get about 75 channels for $15 and is streaming only.
Most people have the Spectrum Select which is what you get when you first sign up at the promotional price of $44. It jumps to around $75 when the promotion expires.
Found all this out on a mystery shop of Spectrum.
