So recently got email from a scheduler named Jessica McKeenzie stating she was from a Bestmark. Numerous locations were listed. Job included purchasing $200.00 EBay Gift Card. Job was well presented with the typical observations etc. the shop assignment report would be sweet and short and very tempting. So you do the shop and do the report. Part of report is picture of receipt, picture of card as well as additional simple pics. Payment was $30.00 for shop and reimbursement for card purchase. Hmmm sounds good, right...and to top it off you still get to use card. Wow what a score.
So your told not to use the card till client approves your report. Can you guess why?
The last picture required is the back of the card where they required that you scratch open the pin. So here you think you just made a great score. Your waiting to get report approval and payment. Well the wait is over before you know it. While you patiently waited they used that pin that you so innocently sent them and emptied that card that you bought.
Correct emails come from Bestmark.com not Bestmark.inc.
Assignments should show on your account once assigned
So hopefully nobody got lured in. I never made the purchase but did play the game just to see how far it went. I saw all the signs. Once I confronted this woman with questions she disappeared because she knew I caught her.
So again...beware of. “jessica.mckenzie@bestmarkinc.awsapps.com”
