Voting myself 'most likely to finish June's Journey sometime in the next century or the one after that.' Takes a long time to proceed without real money. Started this year's spring sorting and will likely finish before spring begins.

I applied for an Engineering position yesterday and noticed how slow my 2018 laptop was. Between the items I had to upload or convert, the app took over 12 hours.

I am looking at new laptops though I do most things from my phone. I have to clean out my drives.

Doing everything today. Declutter, Clean and organize. And some safety modules for work. Knit on my scarf and get outside.

I can't work 4 days in a row and maintain my house!
Quick trip to Aldi. Since it is 70 F, I will wear sandals. Then, kitchen clean-up, laundry, and letting the robo vacuum roam.

Based in MD, near DC
Shopping from the Carolinas to New York
Have video cam; will travel

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
Home, home on the range... where technology and dust bunnies play... Strange little ditty popped into my head about how Americana is changing... Anyway, it was warm here, too. In the the thirties. No sandals today.

I went to the food bank to volunteer this morning. Wrong day!

In chapter eight of June's Journey. Hoping that the cafe challenge is in an upcoming scene and not the clubhouse. Wishing that its incentives were unlimited and monetizable diamonds.

I was subbing on Wednesday when I felt a bit sick. Next day, I had to cancel my job. Took a home test and found I had COVID. After all these years, now! Luckily, I have been vaccinated and boosted so my symptoms are minor. No fever or cough. Just fatigue.

I had to cancel one job in the fall. Hubby was sick, and tested positive. I really wasn't sick at all, but also tested positive. Hubby wasn't that sick either, luckily. Glad we've had all the boosters. Actually, we're missing that fall one as we have to wait 3 months.
A bit of reading/sorting/discarding.
Kitty and I are stuck on the couch while Hubby naps. LOL
Spring sorting in the first targeted area is mostly finished. Soon, there will be small, inexpensive organizational thingies there. The space already "feels" better.

Cooked breakfast at the church, then came home and ran errands. Got sucked into sitting on the couch with Hubby and playing on my computer while he watches football.

Yoga interspersed with reading and easy tasks. I wrenched my back shovelling yesterday. Glad I had no work scheduled.
So warm. Patio door was open for a few hours and letting in sunlight and fresher air. May we have more of these days, please?

I took the trash out this morning. A Chewy box of bulky items, a box from the fridge cleanout and household trash. When I took the Chewy box out, the corner of the box flipped the lock. I was locked out of my house for about 15 minutes. I had to dig through the memory bank for the garage code.

More warmth, open door, etc. and upcoming sixty four percent increase. Now the challenge is to ease hubby into awareness that his share of expenses will increase to the point where there will not be even one cent to share with his scammers. In all, a good thing.

Yoga class at the gym and errands.

I was kicking myself. Having locked myself out before, I had a backup plan.

Hubby met some friends for lunch, so I went to the Botanical Garden and walked around, then visited the Goodwill Outlet store.

I chaired my Friday morning meeting, then ran errands on the way home. I had COVID back in the fall so put off the newest vaccine update. However, we're traveling in a few weeks and I want to stay healthy, so I made an appointment at Walgreens.

Catch up on postponed errands. Hope to finish all before snowfall.

Had a busy week this past week, so hubby & I stayed in bed till 9 am!! Then I made blueberry pancakes, scrambled eggs and cooked up some sausage, and we had some fruit with it. I don't do that too often, so we enjoyed it! Just lolling around today...hafta get up and clean house later. I'll prob make a peach/blueberry cobbler later on, using peaches we froze from last summer.
We celebrated Ice Cream For Breakfast Day with a FaceTime call with the grand kids. It was a lot of fun.
